I still find the earlier episodes of TT fairly obnoxious in that regard, too. I think it was much better when they toned it down later on.
I was taken aback by it, but Teen Titans, while not perfect was still a good show.
However, more and more shows are using this style, and Anime isn't as popular or wide spread as it was in the early 2000's, so I'm worried it will take away from the series, or become a Never Live It Down type thing.

One Strip! One Strip!I like the anime-esque things added to this franchise (ninjas, animated, of course), but yeah, anime has been declining in popularity for years now so I'd love an explanation as to how the producers arrived at this idea.
Apparently, the director for the Teen Titans show is also directing this one.
EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD MAKES SENSE NOW.
That's one of the primary reasons I hated Teen Titans.
"Hey, anime is big, so let's incorporate it into the show. Every second scene."
The show overdid it.
Massively.

BUY A CAR FROM ME!Talk about nitpicking, if you don’t like the show, fine, but can’t you at least try not to sound so shallow about it?
Read the earlier posts on the last page.
You know, its OK to not like every element of a TV show. I don't like the anime-esque elements. And you know what? That's perfectly valid. I don't think they should take them away on my account, though I would like it if the elements were toned down.
Just watched the new ep.
Raph learns to control his temper(a bit) a new character is mutated, and next week, the Shredder shows up.
One Strip! One Strip!I give this week's episode a solid 5/10. Raph's pet is named Spike... I know where that's going.
Anyway, next week, holy crap they meet Chuck Norris!
Who voiced the fat guy at the beginning of this week's episode? I heard his voice before...
He was on Scooby Doo: Mystery Inc... voicing Mr. E, right? Ooooh. That's where I remember him from.
I'm loving this series, I even like the rap for its cheesiness. My only complaint is that April looks creepy. While I've enjoyed the first three episodes, I hope that the next one doesn't follow the same formula of "meet human -> fight kraang -> human gets mutated -> fight mutant."
So far the trend seems to be that the Turtles gets unlikable humans mutated accidentally and then the mutants swear vengeance. XD
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Well, the next episode seems to be about the Foot, so the mojojojos Kraang and thus the ooze shouldn't be a factor this time around.
Wonder when they'll make an episode about the Hand.
-cartoon theme song starts playing, walks out of stage with a top hat and a cane-
I wonder what it would take for TMNT and Marvel to do a crossover?
Hmmm...
Yeah, they did. I remember. They got used to it after a while. Well, some did.
