This thread deals with all issues concerning the icons used for namespaces and their buttons, including proposals for icons for new namespaces and bugs with existing icons.
When submitting an icon, the icon images should be exactly 16x16 png with a transparent background. A gif can also be used, but png is usually better. Also, the naming convention is important. It should be the namespace in lowercase.
I am compiling a list of namespaces that need icons, and icons for those name spaces. This would be preferred to be done quickly because I've convinced Eddie to hook them up when I get them complied. I will be editing the OP as we go.
NOTE: Use the link to the sandbox in the thread title to see what still needs to be decided on.
Subpages that still need icons:
- Animation/
- FanWorks/
- Manhua/
- Sandbox/
- Timeline/
Subpages that already have icons hooked up (please note, this list has been collapsed into a note, so that the floating header post isn't huge)
Links to installation-ready icons here and forward.
pages that have icons

They are supposed to look like Teacups.

I like the last one as well.
The last one is the best.
Pinball cleanup threadIndeed.
Also, Septimus, if you have any young friends or relations then you may well end up seeing the Teacups at the next fair you go to.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going."I have never seen anything like that".
Anyhow, I think we can go with the ride for Ride/.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI like the rollercoaster. It's more clear than the teacups.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Roller coaster fo' sho'.
Moon◊Can we go with the coaster now? It's got seven upvotes from all the topic regulars, which is kind of a lot.
Pinball cleanup threadI also support the last one.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.OK, so the roller coaster it is. Added it to the sandbox.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanRight, so before this we were discussing possibilities for TropeCo/, and I suggested a briefcase, of◊ which◊ there◊ are◊ plenty◊ of options.◊

Pinball cleanup threadI like 1, 4, and 5.
I actually like the third one best myself.
Pinball cleanup thread6 looks like an error message. I can't see what 5 is.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt worked when I first linked it, but for whatever reason it doesn't now. It's gone from the OP.
Pinball cleanup threadAlso, I noticed that there's a Pinball/ namespace. I figured that the most obvious choice for an icon would be a pinball, and I've found a◊ few contenders.◊
Pinball cleanup threadReally? Pinball machines? Wonder how many pages that namespace has gained; inevitably more than I'd have assumed...
I like the third pinball the best.
Moon◊That's... actually roughly on par with what I was guessing.
Moon◊You'd be surprised at how many pinball enthusiasts there are. Check out the reviews over at the Internet Pinball Database, for starters!
Anyway, the third one is probably the best, but for whatever reason I feel a little attached to the first one for how old it looks. Dunno why.
Pinball cleanup threadThat's still more than "AlternateRealityGame/" and "Ride/".
I'm not LGBT. I just think Rain's really cool. Apologies if my humor gets too painful.Just a reminder that we are trying to maintain an official namespace list, so namespaces shouldn't be added willy-nilly to the sandbox page just because someone happened to create a page there. We can hash out what the icon might be if it's approved, but it does have to be approved.
Sorry about that. I tried to keep it updated, but I guess it wasn't a good thing to do.
Should I delete the "lesser" namespaces?
Pinball cleanup thread
Last one for me too. The others look more like cups.
