Poor Image: Asian Hooker Stereotype

The image is blurred and of rather poor quality. I think the girl in the picture is Asian, but to be honest it's hard to tell. Google Image Search (yes, you can actually GIS this if you have safe search enabled) suggests that it's actually a demotivator with the border cut off - hence the low resolution.

Given the state of the internet I'm sure it shouldn't be hard to find a picture of a stereotypical Asian sex worker.

I agree, she looks Hispanic rather than Asian to me.

Current image has the perfect choice of scene. Image quality and exact timing of the shot? Not so much.

Eh, I mean the scene in question is a fairly solid good example of the trope It'd just be nice if we could get a clearer picture.

Not really, because you can't really tell that she's Asian, nor that she's a hooker.

Hooker part, I see a little but she still looks more like hispanic, if you ask me.

She's obviously Asian, and the billboards behind her are obviously written in Vietnamese. I vote for that one.

I wouldn't say either of those are obvious. I can kinda tell she's Asian if I squint at it, but I would never have guessed that the billboards were Vietnamese.

She could easily be Latina, and most tropers don't speak Vietnamese so wouldn't be able to tell what language the billboards are.

Seriously. It's a slender girl with dark hair. Lots of ethnicities have slender girls with dark hair. I'll grant that she's clearly not Swedish or Zimbabwean, but otherwise it's a toss up.

Alright, update time. I Skyped Eddie to ask him about making the page a "no pic" page, which led to discussion of the thread itself, and Eddie said to put the better quality screencap up, so that's why it's on the page. I cut the caption down some to take out the more lewd parts and made a note on the example to reference the pic. Locking back up.
