Contains nonconsensual sex between Pinkie Pie and other characters?

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Or rather, how would you recommend it without being creepy, and make sure that people know what they're getting into?

"Roll for whores."I can't believe we are seriously having this kind of discussion. The internet is amazing.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."nvm
Granted I don't think the original post I made here was that bad. Rape would be permitted not for sexuality, because it does happen in fiction as part of a theme for trauma or otherwise anything heinous. I just wasn't thinking the time I made the post, but luckily avoided making myself sound stupidly bad...

I now go by Graf von Tirol.Fanfiction is serious business, doncha know?
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)My problem with that, (aside from the children's cartoon rape,) is that it's way too vague. "Contains nonconsensual sex between Pinkie Pie and other characters" tells you nothing, aside from the fact that any civilized human being should run as far the fuck away as possible.

"Roll for whores."How about something like, "WARNING! CONTAINS SCENE WHERE FICTIONAL PONY IS RAPED!"?
edited 10th Apr '12 6:01:07 PM by Raidouthe21st
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)I prefer the option where we simply don't put a link to a fic where a fictional pony gets raped and let anyone who's interested in such a thing use the wonderful resource called google.
"My life is my own" | If you want to contact me privately, please ask first on the forum. If memory serves from last time I got involved in a debate over this, that idea was declared to be "too prudish".
"Roll for whores."I agree. I also thought that Eddie's proclamation encompassed blatantly illegal things as well? And for the love of your chosen deity, please tell me pony rape is illegal.
Of course it is.
Can we just have a blanket ban on reccing clopfics? I know we're going to every length here not to be prudish, but Jesus Christ.
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The Staff^^ Depends on the jurisdiction, but in most cases I'm guessing "no", if only because it wouldn't occur to a mentally fit person that such should need to be outlawed in the first place.
[edit]
And for the actual topic of this specific conversation, while I personally have no interest in clopfics I'm somewhat less than thrilled with the notion of banning the recs altogether, but if they are given a blanket ban I think I'll manage to contain any weeping and gnashing of teeth on my part.

All your safe space are belong to TrumpI'm going to stand by my previous statement that I am really not interested in seeing, hearing, or thinking about pony porn. The idea of it just bothers me.
Just because something is technically allowed by the rules doesn't mean the it's not disturbing. Any recs that are written in a creepy manner are free to be cleaned up.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI seriously believe that any rec for fics that are just a excuse to explicitely show rape should be nuked inmediately. And yes, I also include the bullshit that does not involve talking horses.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."True. Rape for rape's sake is not what I consider okay. If it's a well-written element that demonstrates trauma or anything serious like that, that's another thing as long as it doesn't go into detail.

I now go by Graf von Tirol. We shouldn't permit bestiality recs either, though, which surely rules out most explicit MLP fanfics anyway.
And I mean, stating the obvious, I know, but it's a fucking children's show about cartoon horses.
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffSo, we all agree that Fanfic recs involving explicit pony sex should be deleted?
My oh my, times sure have changed.
"My life is my own" | If you want to contact me privately, please ask first on the forum.Just don't allow fanfics about cartoon horses fucking in general. They won't do anything good for our reputation and come on, do we really need them?
Meh, the internet's done worse.
I just said rape. Not that I'm defending those "clopfics" (seriously, where the hell did they get that "clop" onomatopoeia?), but hey, it's their kink. It's not like people can say they accidentaly find a fic rec like that when looking at a freaking Shipping folder in a show about freaking talking horses.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Let's discuss a single premise: Brilliant things can be done with explicit sex in fanfic. This is a premise some people in this topic do not seem to share, and I don't know how to convince anyone of this. I could link fanfics I thought were brilliant that contained explicit sex, but brilliance is subjective, so I can't actually prove anything.
Now, if we accept the premise that brilliant things can be done with explicit sex in fanfic, I don't think sex between cartoon ponies is any worse than sex between cartoon humans. Thus, if we accept links to explicit human sex, I think we should accept links to explicit pony sex. The problem seems to be that people who would be happiest if we banned links to explicitly sexual fanfics are happier by degrees according to how much explicitly sexual fanfic they can ban links to (a bit like how people who're against contraception campaign to ban women's contraception because they can't get away with banning all contraception.)

That's Feo . . . He's a disgusting, mysoginistic, paedophilic asshat who moonlights as a shitty writer—Something AwfulI dare say there is worse out there, but I was not under the impression that we were planning on endorsing every bizarre thing the Internet shits out.
Given the nature of the show, MLP porn fics are creepy by definition. Furthermore, any work that eroticizes pony sex would fall under bestiality, which is illegal and wrong.
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffWell put feotakahari.
Anything involving porn of obviously fictional characters that aren't even ownership of the author can be creepy by definition, and without even taking a single look at the species involved.
I'll say it again, the stuff that ticks me off is rape. I mean it's rape! Human, horse or cardboard box, it's fucking rape!

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Er, the bestiality bit is wrong technically. Bestiality is humans having sex with animals. Not intelligent anthropomorphic creatures having sex with other intelligent anthropomorphic stuff. Pony stuff falls into the same category as other furry stuff. It's not my thing and it makes me twitch, but it's not bestiality. It's just weird and disturbs me.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI really don't want to get more involved than I already am, but I'd like to note that bestiality is illegal because animals are nonsentient and cannot grant consent, and therefore it is rape by definition. Sex between two sentient animals—no matter how much it squicks everyone out—is not bestiality in the legal sense.

How would you recommend something like that without being creepy?
