If anything, it's about making a compromise between having a YMMV page centered around editors leaving negative criticism that encourages Natter and Justifying Edits and cutting the page outright.
I only wish we could produce more than just one In-Universe example beforehand to show that this can actually be done.

Well people can make comment about real life groups, so a lot of entertainment shows, like I Love the Exties can count.
Some commented on this in "I Love the 70's" about The Captain And Tennille, that The Captain was almost irrelevant to the group.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I think that's pushing it. Compared to my In-Universe example where a duo is objectively presented with one half being a hanger-on, that instance from I Love the 70s marks more of what we have on this page already, just instead of an editor making an opinion, it's the opinion of a talking head pundit in front of a camera. This would also make the trope sound like it's about simply arguing an opinion when it should just be a duo/group directly appearing in a work and being presented as having this very dynamic.

If we make it In-Universe (which, going by the crowner, seems likely), should we send it back to YKTTW to get examples?
Calling crowner.
Alt-names crowner was hooked, bumping for more votes.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI don't like the Undeserved Second Billing suggestion, because it seems judgmental. Maybe they do deserve second billing, they just don't have enough star billing to the front man or a solo act.
Bump for votes.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!None of the titles are thriving. We need more suggestions.
I suppose the best way would be to lay out the basics of the trope, and those who like particular names can give their case as to why their name fits best.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Don't think this is enough votes to call. Bumping and reclocking.

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.No. I think the issue is that we don't have enough In-Universe examples.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI've moved the page and removed the main category of real-life examples. There appear to be some more of those mixed in with other categories, though, I'll take a further look.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! Is there anything left to be done here?
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Guess not, locking by request.
