Yeah, that doesn't work at all, plus it's unsourced...I dunno if we can adequately pic this without a lampshade.

The source, I'm fairly certain, is one of the Dead Or Alive games. Which one, specifically, and which character, I couldn't tell you, but I do recognize the visual style.
Moon◊I can confirm that source. Helena from the second one and beyond.
I'm not sure how you show this one... Umm... I think stills are going to come off as just Gianaxing.

For no apparent reason, someone reverted the whole page to a much earlier version of a sandbox. The description change was one thing, but they didn't seem to merge the examples well and the lost the page image causing someone to throw up the dumb one there.
That said, an image of something other than breasts would be an improvement.
The previous image was this:

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI think that image works fine, seeing how it illustrates the...uh...physics.
But the current image does too with the way the strings are moving. The trope isn't about boobs. People just assume it's about boobs.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickBoobs? I thought the previous one was about the hair.
Could always go for a fat man...
I didn't even notice the strings in the current one, to be completely honest. But I agree that if we could find a good illustration that uses something other than boobs, that would be good, since I suspect that this is getting passed over in a lot of cases where it applies because of a perception that it's about boobs only.
And looking through the examples bears that out. Most of them are about breasts, some with an offhand mention that it's also used on hair or clothing.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.@shimaspawn
...But it IS about breasts, primarily. It's in Keep Abreast Of This Index, after all.
Not exclusively, according to the definition, though. The earliest examples were about hair and clothing.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanGah, why do people keep adding it to that? We took it off that index when we redefined it. It's not primarily about breasts. It's about animating soft materials.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI never said that's what it was exclusively about. But the article says so right there that it's the first thing that comes to mind. Hence I used the word primarily.
It may be the first thing that comes to mind, but the trope is primarily about hair and clothing and that's what it's used for 90% of the time. The breasts just tend to be what people's prurient minds come up with.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickWhy did we even call it that if it's not about boobs? That's just going to cause misuse, and we really should take that to TRS once there is an opening.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. You can try and rename Chuck Yeager if you want a TRS slot - it's only 83 wicks.
And on the subject of the image, I can't see anything about the trope in there other than the breasts. Can it be pulled?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanJiggle physics is what it's called in the industry, as far as I can tell. Google search results on [+"Game Development" + "Jiggle Physics"] — pages that contain both those terms.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Well, you could rename it to something like "Jigglebones", which is another term used in the industry (or at least Valve Software games/mods?), and one that doesn't necessarily immediately bring to mind breasts.
Moon◊Did they call it that because of breasts? If so, then the trope should at least stay on the breast index, as it's heavily about it.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I think you want a Trope Talk thread to discuss this.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNo, they called it because it's the physics of making objects jiggle. The term has never referred exclusively to breasts. The association is largely in prurient minds that care more about breasts than hair or fabric moving properly.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickFirstly, it's human nature to be gutter-minded, and secondly, let's not forget that part of it is expecting other people to be gutter-minded.
Whatever the reason, it's strongly associated with breasts at this point and may as well remain that way. Perhaps a new trope could be made for more general simulation of physics of non-rigid materials.
It seems often that Image Pickin' threads draw attention to things that are a job for the Trope Repair Shop. o.o

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartThe last image was chosen in an image picking thread (it was my suggestion) vote putting that back up.
The one in post 5.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!But it has a stronger association everywhere outside of this site with any soft materials.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. Dick
Her breasts are perfectly still, and at level. This really needs either a multi-part picture, or a shot where the breasts are clearly in a position that is showing their bounciness (like the gainaxing picture).
Current picture for reference:
