I loved that show but it was Too Good to Last. I like Burke, and Skull, but wasn't a fan of Scrat. I didn't like the voice of Burke's master, he sounded scary with his "FEED ME BURKE"
Oh drat, that means I'm officially Older Than They Look xD

In an anime, I'll be the Tsundere Dark Magical Girl who likes purple MY own profile is actually HERE!Meh, I was born the same year it ended. Reruns and rereleases played into it's exposure to me.
'Im Upstairs shifted somewhere between High Octane Nightmare Fuel and an amusing Fat Bastard ("AWWW, BERK, BERK!!! I'VE RIPPED MY PYJAMAS!!!"). Some of the monsters are similar (eg. The Splund).

This was a great series.
I think 'Im Upstairs might be my favourite recurring character.
The Revolution Will Not Be Tropeablealong with Rork, he was the closest thing to a recurring character
http://s1.zetaboards.com/Conceptual_Evolution/ http://sagan4.com/forum/index.phpYou mean Rogg. There was also some of the monsters such as Bubo and the Big Angry Red Thing. A couple of episodes such as 'music video' episode also had dozens of monsters from before re-emerge.

And there were a couple of small monsters, like the little thing that goes HONK, that weren't captured and can be seen running around in the background of later episodes.
The Revolution Will Not Be Tropeable
Thought I'd discuss another obscure retro toon, The Trap Door. It's a British claymation series (not Aardman!) with a spoof horror theme. Similar formula each episode, butler-type monster thing Berk has some creature come out of the trap door and usually cause trouble.
Rather funny show, the only big downside is that each episode is less than four minutes long, which means a lot of abrupt endings and, as fun as the characters' interaction is, not a lot is able to happen in it's short span.
Noted for it's surprisingly awesome theme, so much that one episode acts as little more than a music video for the full version.
