It's a tad schizophrenic. Ancient doors tend to be control operated but there's still a few automatic ones, and Tau'ri ones tend to be the other way around.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Yeah... I think they just didn't want to bother with the actors hitting the button each time they wanted to go through a door...
You gonna react to the whole "teleporting in" thing?
Blue Pacific, signing off...I've still got to do my thing with our resident fixed-faced soul stealing alien first.
Or do the interaction, then have it happen just to see how everyone reacts.
"Yup. That tasted purple."I did it the best way ever. However, I think I'll wait for Psyga to bring the rest to us before I do anymore...
Thanks.
Blue Pacific, signing off...You're welcome.
And, seriously, I don't know what to name it. I just hadn't thought that far ahead... Just as I thought up a Ha'tak, but not how to get to it...
Re: My latest post
I'd probably react that way if I could change jobs at a whim like in Final Fantasy 3.
Blue Pacific, signing off...And lo, the Gender Bender hath started.
"Yup. That tasted purple."And that's probably how I'd treat the situation. Try to find a name for my gorram ship!
Yay! ^_^
OK, I'm not sure whether that came under Narrative Profanity Filter or not, since it's not swearing, but...
"Yup. That tasted purple."Ship name idea: The Killing Trope
Blue Pacific, signing off...Fun Fact: The ship's former name under Luffy's command was "The Going Merry".
I'm going to assume you'll be getting to the ship soon? It'd be nice to have some other people to interact with.
Blue Pacific, signing off...Yeah. Pretty soon. Either today or tomorrow. I'm just waiting for a few more people to make their opening post.
Actually, screw it. I'm teleportin' myself.

And I just realised it's 1AM. When we're in the middle of stuff.
Dammit, looks like an all-nighter.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Hooray for holidays!
FUCK YEAH!
/highfives
Blue Pacific, signing off...Congrats, you named the ship!
Wait. Idea.
Considering that scholars in Final Fantasy III could use a Study ability in the DS version, do you think George could use it to tell what universe a person's abilities came from?
Blue Pacific, signing off...That could work.
Now... Am I rushing too much?
Well, that seems like as good a place as any to call it a night.
Even if I still feel I could have written the sequence better than I did, but...
"Yup. That tasted purple."Night, Loudy. *Hugs.*
Ok, good. That was actually why it took me so long to figure out whether there was a button to be pushed, or if they were automatic. I eventually went and rewatched a couple of episodes, and I didn't see any buttons being hit, so I assume they're automatic.
