Okay, first of all, this is not a trope, as far I can tell, and probably should be on the Useful Notes namespace. It is already on the UsefulNotes. The United States index, anyway.

More important, however, is that the article is overly focused on the US/Canadian Labor's Day, which are not on the same day as most of the world. It is a valid article, for those who would be confused by seeing north American productions depicting the worker's day as anywhere but May the First. However, an article with such name should be about either the International holiday or generally about any labor holiday at any part of the globe (therefore including not only May Day, US's Labor's Day but, for example, Japan's Labour Thanksgiving Day).

So, I propose expanding the current article to include all kinds of Labor's Day. Unfortunately, I can not back this proposition by myself as I lack both the knowledge and the skills to write such an article.

What I can do by myself is to rename it to UsefulNotes.North Amricans Labors Day or similar and do all the wick moving (which, I admit, is not much). The major article about the International Worker's Day would continue to be nonexistent, but this is what the Wikipedia is for, after all (and, frankly, I do not know if such article is really needed).

UsefulNotes.Labor Day In The United States would be better.

This isn't the only problem with Holiday Tropes.

American Holidays, Christmas In America, Christmas In Australia, Christmas In Japan, A Very British Christmas and Russian Holidays all need to be moved to Useful Notes/ namespaces

  • PS Edit: Never mind, I already did that.

Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day duplicate each other. They need to be divided between a trope page for Thanksgiving Day Episode and UsefulNotes.American Thanksgiving Day.

  • PS Edit: See TRS thread here to discuss problems with Thanksgiving pages.

We also have a Missing Supertrope for holiday episodes in general. Someone tried to put one together last year but got ingnored. I've found it and I'm trying to drum up support. See here for the YKTTW.

Bump.

I know this isn't a fun as discussing boobies and Rule of Sexy, but could we please get some feeback on this so we can get it resolved and close the thread?

Thanks for doing all those namespace moves while I wasn't paying attention. UsefulNotes.Labor Day In The United States seems like a good location to which to move this page, and the examples can be cut while moving it.

I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn!

Support move.

I, uh, went ahead and moved the contents to UsefulNotes.Labor Day In The United States as suggested.

Guess I can fix whatever wicks need fixing…

EDIT: Actually, I think most of the wicks can be left intact.
