Well, the Puyo Pop thing was a Mythology Gag to the Dolled-Up Installment roots, but maybe Eggman has a section in his bases for all Sega puzzle games.

OK, i'm wild mass guessing that Eggman is secretly a hardcore puzzle gamer now.

Forget that, there needs to be a Comix Zone track. You can have a race set in post-apoc New York, driving and flying through the panels to get to different areas of the track. Occasionally, the hand of Mortus would drop out of the sky and draw in hazards for you to avoid. Seriously, it could work.

Hey, no love for the "Results" song? That thing just screams "everyone's a winner!", especially when you place badly in an online race.

Anyone else like the You Lost track more than the You Won track? I mean, yes I don't like it for being the lose music, but as actual music I actually like it better.

ALL WORLD TOUR STARS!!! AGES' CONSOLE MOD UNLOCKED!!! The little movie telling me scared me, since it's night over here BUT WHO CARES, I DON'T HAVE TO MESS WITH IT ANYMORE!!!

...Except I still don't have Alex's Console Mod. I don't know what to do here. I got the game post-Christmas, so it's not an issue of him being locked, so I don't know what's up.

I normally wouldn't care, but after the hell of getting Console!AGES, I want my every mod sticker, dangnabbit!

EDIT: OK, fixed it, I had to turn off the online clock auto-fix, then rewind to before Christmas 2012 to re-lock Alex, then go back to the game and play a race and I got his Console Mod.

Racers beware, this seems to also be a problem on the Wii U version.

It's an issue with Alex being a timed unlock instead of an "action unlock", where you trigger the unlock.

Alex is programmed to automatically unlock himself with all his mods when the clock reads that it's Christmas 2012 or later. With how long it was between the release and then, it was kinda assumed that you would have gone through some if not all of WT, so Alex secretly needs to unlock the Gen/MD Star just like the not-Shadow Sonic characters, but while he is stil locked. Otherwise, it only goes to the Super Sonic racers.

However, I didn't have the game till after Christmas, so literally the first thing that happened when I started my game was Alex being gifted, which means he didn't have time to get the Gen/MD mod like the others, leaving without a Console Mod.

As was said to fix it, I had to turn off PSN knowing what the time actually was, then set the internal clock to before that Christmas. Then I went back into the game, where thanks to resetting the clock, Alex is locked as the game is back to thinking it's not Christmas yet.

From there, I was able to play a race, and the game finally registered that I unlocked the Gen/MD Star for a still-locked Alex, thus unlocking his Mod, and giving me the every mod sticker.

The weird thing is that it only seems to be a thing for the Wii U and PS3 versions (it's unknown if Handhelds or PC have it.), as no one with the 360 version had the problem, though it seems to be worst on Wii U.

[up]Well I'm most likely getting the 360 version in the first place, so that's convenient.

After you unlocked the Mods, can you reset the clock back to the real time without screwing things up?

Oh, yeah totally. In fact, if you wanted to, you can use the clock to basically ban/un-ban him when ever you feel like it, and he'll still have the Gen/MD Star, because the game will still have the every mod sticker registered.

Also, I can finally use this classic meme for myself and it be true in context: I FUCKING TRAVELED THROUGH TIME TO GET A CHARACTER ADJUSTMENT BY WINNING A RACE TO GO GET MOTHERFUCKING STICKERS

Figures it's not until AFTER I finish WT that I hear that they patched the Traffic Attack difficulty (it especially stings since my last two missions that had stars missing were both Traffic.)

Finally started playing this again after a long and largely unintentional break. Got Reala and Ages... now on to getting Eggman and my character collection will be complete.

It's weird that getting Eggman takes so long when he was a starter character in the first game.

As much as I love the soundtrack for this game, I kind of miss this tune:

Not that it would actually make we enjoy playing on the Billy Hatcher stage, mind you.

So, for PC players, a July 4th update presents a new character: General Winter from Company Of Heroes.

Before we console players get torches and pitchforks, however, Sumo's Steve Lycett has said that Winter is unrelated to the character teased earlier, so we are still getting that poll character!

Which still begs the question of when the DLC will be complete/released. We've known about its development for some time now.

So now the PC version has four exclusive characters - the Manager, RED Team, the Shogun, and General Winter... while the WiiU, 360, and PS3 respectively get one (Mii), one (360 Avatar), and zilch? sad

Well, if you count all of the costumes Sackboy can dress up in, LBP Karting has a ridiculous amount of guest characters (including some Sonic characters). Probably didn't need to become one.
