It adds patriotism and a tradition of looking down upon everyone else who doesn't play by your rules. Seriously, RWU embodies post WWII US quite well.

White, being the colour of order, tempers UR, keeping it from accidentally blowing everything up as the Izzet tended to do.

I see myself as WUR because I'm one of those annoying people who thinks society needs structure and freedom, not just one or the other, and definitely needs to be guided by the best information available.

>Izzet accidentally blowing stuff up

>Accidentally

Hm, I consider myself black and green for a number of reasons.

For one, my reverence of nature. Not nature like a lot of people who make the previous statement or statements like it think of it as, mind. Nature is fucking vicious. You screw with nature and an apex predator will slaughter you and eat most of you, worms and maggots will digest all they can, and the soil will absorb the remaining nutrients to grow plants. And that's something to respect.

I'm also very ambitious. I won't be content without owning at least half a city block. At least. I'm also, as many can attest, callous, frequently rude, arrogant, etc etc.

That's not half of it, but Chuckles and LC call.

The blue is for my love of knowledge and learning. While I'm not inclined towards White's associations with complete order, bureaucracy and patriotism, I figure that being a medical student and thus intending to devote several decades of my life to helping others fits with White's healing and protection of society.

A few subtle hints of my blatant favouritism for Gorgons can be found on these forums, so this should come as no surprise:

Lovecrafter, The Gorgonmancer (4UBG)

Planeswalker, Lovecrafter

7

0: Choose a color. Put a 2/4 Gorgon creature token of that color on the battlefield. It has: "Whenever this creature blocks or becomes blocked by a non-wall creature, destroy that creature at the end of combat."

-6: Until end of turn, creatures you control get: "Whenever this creature becomes blocked by another creature, that creature's controller sacrifices it at end of combat. If the player does, he or she puts a 0/2 colorless Wall artifact creature token with defender onto the battlefield.", and Gorgon creatures you control are indestructible.

Sick 'em, girls.

EDIT: switched -6 to Basalt Golem's rule. Much more Gorgon-y.

I'm blue because I value knowledge and giving some thought to your actions. Red because I value freedom and creativity and white because I like big explosions, OK I believe in the system and that while it's flawed, it can be changed for the better as long as we work together.

...bleh, too cheesy. Almost heard Team Rocket's theme while saying that.

But whatever

Juan Carlos, Planeswalker
3UR
+2: Target player draws two cards and discards one card
-1: Juan Carlos deals two damage to target creature. Tap that creature. That creature doesn't untap during its controller's next untap phase
-8: You get an emblem with, "Whenever you cast an spell, deal 3 damage to target creature and draw a card"

I decided to name my planeswalker avatar "Zenn" to avoid confusion with the two Magic planes my username is based on:

Zenn, Elemental Theurge

UURG

Planeswalker — Zenn

[+1]: Reveal the top card of your library. If it's a creature card, put a 0/1 green plant creature token with defender onto the battlefield. If it's an instant or sorcery card, put a 2/1 red elemental creature token with trample, haste and "at the beginning of the end step, sacrifice this creature" onto the battlefield. You may put the revealed card on the bottom of your library.

[-X]: You may cast a spell in your hand with converted mana cost equal to X minus 2, without paying its mana cost. As long as that spell on the stack, spells that target it cost (2) more to cast.

[-7]: You get an emblem with "whenever you cast a spell, you may pay URG. If you do, copy that spell. You may choose new targets for the copy."

Now just make that deck play smoother and find my mono-green alter ego.

Let's give it a shot

Nor, the Imp
1URG

  • +1 Move a counter from target creature to another target creature.
  • -1 Put an eyeball counter on target creature, it is green, has vigilance and can't attack you or a planeswalker you control as long as it has an eyeball counter on it.
  • -4 Switch the abilities of two target permanents.

Well, my choice of names kind of cuts down on options here.

Tin Weasel

  • 2
  • Artifact
  • T: Counter target activated ability that targets a card you control. The ability's controller may have you return this card to your hand.
  • "So what does it do?"
  • "Distract people, I guess."

Clockwork Mustelid

  • 4
  • Artifact Creature
  • This card comes into play with 2 +1/+1 counters. If this creature attacks and has any +1/+1 counters on it, target creature must block this creature if able, and remove a +1/+1 counter from this creature when the combat phase ends.
  • T, 3: Add a +1/+1 counter to this card. Play only if this card has fewer than 2 +1/+1 counters.
  • "Same as the other one?"
  • "Pretty much."
  • 0/1

And FIE on the forum's autoformatting of single-Enter line breaks to no line breaks at all.

Eric Scott 1WG
Legendary Creature - Human Druid Writer
Eric Scott enters the battlefield with one procrastination counter on it.
At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a procrastination counter from Eric Scott. Then, if Eric Scott has no procrastination counters on it, put a Book artifact token onto the battlefield and draw cards equal to the number of Books you control.
3: Put a procrastination token onto Eric Scott. Any player may play this ability.
Sadly, TV Tropes has infinite mana.

The Panda 1WBG
Legendary Creature - Human Vigilante
WBG: Target creature fights The Panda.

Since my Troper handle is the name of a city, with a number slapped behind it, I made another name up.

Ktosydan, Fervent Researcher
{2}{U}{G}
Legendary creature - Human Werewolf Wizard
Morbid - put an Inspiration counter on Ktosydan, Fervent Researcher
As long as Ktosydan, Fervent Researcher has an Inspiration counter, he has protection from black.
Every time Ktosydan, Fervent Researcher deals combat damage to a player, draw a card.
{T}{1}{U} - take control of target arifact. If {G} was spent to activate this ability, untap that artifact.
At the beginning of each upkeep, if no spells were cast last turn, transform Ktosydan, Fervent Researcher.
(3/3)
2/2

Ktosydan, Ingenious Stalker
{0}(U/G)
Legendary Creature - Werewolf Wizard
As long as Ktosydan, Ingenious Stalker has an Inspiration counter, he has deathtouch.
{U} - Regenerate Ktosydan, Ingenious Stalker.
{T}{1}{G} - Tap target artifact. If {U} was spent to activate it's ability, that artifact does not untap during its controller's next untap step.
At the beginning of each upkeep, if a player cast two or more spells last turn, transform Ktosydan, Ingenious Stalker.
3/3
