That was awesome! Thanks!
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.Update.
Jesus Christ Katia. That's just painful to look at. But there's a silver lining at least?
I'm at the dinner with the Countess now. I really feel sorry for Katia. I don't even play this game and I'm loving this comic.
This comic is pretty adorable, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Ok, I'm caught up. And there's a cliffhanger to get to!
Anyway, I'm actually kind of glad to see Katia failed spectacularly. Having her epic fail at everything and then get depressed about it was pretty sad, but going from that to actually succeeding at every task would take things to far. I like seeing her earn a happy ending through hard work, and lately everything has been turning out fine. I think it's one of the weird things I like about this comic that Katia is a normal person in a world full of adventurers. I don't particularly want to see her turn into a hero.
Glad to see her eye is alright though, I honestly thought she lost it for a little while there. And while an eye patch would be a cute addition to her ensemble I'd rather not see her get hurt that badly.
The really weird thing about this is: I completely DESPISE Oblivion, and yet this comic makes me appreciate the world and think of it as an actual, sensible place, which is a hell of a lot more than the video game ever did.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Update!
Aaaand we're back to Katia. Who is seriously tempting fate here.
And "Nah" is gone. I'm kind of glad. She was interesting, but I'd prefer this story focus on Katia and not jump around in perspective a whole lot. So how long a wait do we usually have for updates?
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Around a week, maybe a little less. The author's no Hussie, that's for sure.
Is there a work page?

OK, I sratched together a character page. It needs more character and more tropes, though.
Please join these multinational petitions against ACTA. Sign up now. Every voice counts.Holy crap an update! Since the big mysterious flash resources have apparently been obtained, I'm excited at what is in store. Lute solo + hood are also win.
...Let us in...Looks like there was an update with the (walkaround) flash the very same day. That's what I get for not checking every half hour. It's a pretty cool one too (if weird).
<3 Shocking Punch and Venison
Shocking Punch is a weird name for a deer. I assume it is a reference to something. I lolled when Katia made some "magic" guacamole. It's adorable how she stubbornly refuses to consider that the Mages Guild might be up to no good, if a little infuriating.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Update. Sigrid is pretty amusing, and I'm not really sure what is going on here. Something unwholesome, no doubt, but it doesn't seem as simple as I had initially expected.
Who's this new douche bag?
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Update: And the dinner goes well so far. Steve is kind of a jerk though.
Only just looked at this (comic? Seems like the wrong word), and I think I'm hooked. The art is adorable without tasting like diabetes, and the writing is top notch. Plus I'm a fan of The Elder Scrolls and tend to play as a khajiit.
I'm definitely going to have a good read through Katia's misadventures as soon as I have time.

Yep, it's quite good. Some people have a problem with all the crap Katia has to go through early on, but I actually think that was the best part of the comic thus far. Although the walkaround flashes lately have definitely made up for the slightly less interesting story.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Calling it now:
There's some sort of magic "like me" poison in the food/drink.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.Forgot to mention the update. Looks like Sigrid is just as socially awkward as Katia.
Not late update: Phooey about the money.

I find it impressive how the suspense was handled during the dinner. On one hand I almost knew that something was very wrong with the Magic Guild, on the other I really, really wanted Katia to achieve her goal, clinging to every shred of hope that Sigrid actually is a just a nice but awkward person.
But... it finally went to hell in the last update. Well, it was really inevitable, the cat hasn't been crying for too long now.
The whole comic is a nice take on The Elder Scrolls world. I always though the background was many times better than the actual games and their plots.
The state of TV Tropes.Well, I can't say I'm surprised at this turn of events.
I'm starting to think this comic could use a little change up in it's format. All this She says and You say is kinda clunky. Something sort of dialoglog would work fine.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.This is seriously one the best webcomics out there. I could never get into Homestuck because of the pacing and insanely complicated plot, but this webcomic Prequel is just heavenly.
I have a strange love/hate relationship with this comic. It's so, so good, but at the same time, I HATE cringe comedy.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.
So yeah guys, Prequel is pretty great and deserves its own thread.
Check it out here. It's a MSPA inspired comic that takes place in the Elder Scrolls series. Specifically Oblivion. You play as Katia Managan, a Khajiit who tries to succeed in life but fails hilariously, by sending commands into her subconscious, where she either takes them or leaves them, depending on the situation.
____
Currently we've just begun playing as a new character. Nah(?) seems rather cool so far. Hopefully she doesn't suffer a horrible horrible death.
