Talk about the first bad video you played. Must include system if multi-platform.

My first bad video game was Batman Forever on the Sega Master System. Watch AVGN's review and imagine doing the commands with only 2 buttons.

[down] N64 or C64?

Some football game for my 64. I don't even remember what it was, but it was pretty bad.

Same game as RW, but on the Genesis.

Metroid Other M.

Okay, not really, I remember having a few terrible GBA games, but my tastes were terrible back then.

This was the first game I actively disliked.

That Casper game for the PS1. But that's just one of many stinkers I bought during childhoos. In retrospect, I could've saved myself (read: "my parent") a good $300-400+.

Some LEGO secret agent game for the GBC. Looking back, I had expected something along the lines of the "LEGO X" games combined with Metal Gear Solid or something, but what I got was a frustrating puzzle game with poor graphics and music where you had to use directional tiles to navigate your agent through a maze of sorts.

I remember making my dad buy it for me, so now I feel bad for that.

In before "complaint topic in disguise".

Anyway, the first game I've played that I'd consider "bad" was one called "Normy's Beach Babe-O-Rama" for the Sega Genesis. You play as a shaggy dude on a quest to save bikini-clad women from such characters as a caveman, a creepy video game developer, and Lucifer while utilizing such weapons as pies, rocks, and mallets that contain boxing gloves, chickens, and belching beavers.

The infamous Superman 64.

Luckily, it was just a rental from Blockbuster, not a full purchase. I returned it the next morning and swapped for Mario Party 2. There have only been three times I've gone back to Blockbuster to hand a game back in; two of those were for games that flat-out didn't work. But really, maybe Superman 64 counts in that category too.

Madden... on the Gamecube.

It took up enough memory to basically destroy my memory card. That says nothing on how the block-eating Animal Crossing and Pokemon XD were already on there...

Infiltrator for the NES.

I wanted Metal Gear, parents saw that it looked kind of like what I wanted, and got it.

It was nothing like Metal Gear. It was a good example of Nintendo Hard, though. The guidebook was pretty worthless, the controls were terrible, and there was no save feature, so once you died or failed a mission, you had to restart from the beginning mission all over again.

Not that all of that stopped me from playing it, though. I still played it, for about six weeks or so.

Ooh, I dunno if it counts as a bad game, but Golden Sun Dark Dawn was one I was pretty disappointed with.

Lagoon for the SNES overall. Not that it sucked, but I find it overly difficult with some bad designs. The graphics and story were good, though. Oh, and sound/music ROCKED.

I remember playing a really terrible licensed Gameboy game that involved a lot of walking up and down stairs. Can't remember the name, sadly.

The first bad game I really played a lot of was Star Wars: Attack of the Clones on the GBA. That game was cripplingly difficult, had shitty graphics, and was far too short.

The first game I hated was NHL Stanley Cup. It's one of the only game I've ever sold and looking at it online, I was extremely surprised to see some peoples thought It Wasnt The Worst Thing Ever.

The SNES Batman Forever is another childhood-ruiner : (.
