Oh, cool, Remember finally updated. I read it a while ago, but it hadn't updated in quite some time.

I like Assassin in this story. They seem to always get sort of screwed over, so it's nice to see them a bit more relevant.

I also like how the author handles the relationship between Archer and Kotomine. And Tokiomi too.

My favorite line (and favorite scene, too): "Rejoice, Kotomine Kirei! Your wish will finally be granted."

That was a nice scene and line, yeah. Hehe, the irony. xD

Man, it's funny to remember just Archer used to be when you see how well thought out his actions are.

I wouldn't exactly call his past self an idiot, but yeah... xD

I'll have to check out the original version of that last chapter. It intrigues me. Well, maybe not. He does however put more thought into his actions.

So I just had a thought...

Anyway, Saber and Kiritsugu were completely unable to cooperate due to her Honour Before Reason mentality versus his Combat Pragmatist methods. The fact that Kiritsugu bent over backwards to not even speak to her probably didn't help. He was convinced they couldn't get along, so didn't even try to do so...

but what if something had changed... what if the two of them had been able to just sit down and talk for a second. Saber may not have liked his methods, but even she admitted he deserved the grail. As for Kiritsugu, if he got over his own disdain for Heroic Spirits, maybe he would have been able to find common ground with her.

I'm wondering if such a story would be possible. How much would Fate Zero and even Fate Stay Night change if these two were on the same page. They nearly won while barely communicating, so powerful a team would they had been with better communication without needing Irisviel to act as a mediator.

Well, Saber wouldn't be such a blubbery mess, but other than that, not much would change.

Yeah, that indeed.

Another thing. Saber flips out when she sees Kotomine in a bad end in Fate. She obviously heard Tohsaka say "the Kotomine church" at the beginning of Fate, so why didn't she just say "Uhh, he's a bad dude."

For that matter, why didn't Archer just go kill him immediately?

Archer probably only really wanted to kill Shirou and damn everything else... and screw around.

Except in Heaven's Feel.

Because he knows from experience how hard Shirou is to kill.

There were two Kotomine in Fate Zerro. She could be sure it was anyone she knew. For all she knew, it was a common name.

Suggestion for getting Saber and Kiritsugu to communicate: Iris gets them both drunk at castle Einzbern before they leave and they end up bonding.

And yeah, I'm not sure if she knew Risei was dead, so she might not have realized it.

I'm not even sure if she knew Risei.

I find Shirou's... doubts about Saber's loyalty in the third chapter's last scene kind of hilarious, considering that she's probably even more obsessed with her master than Tamamo, and that's saying something...

Maybe at the end of the War, but Nerosaber needed the Brotagonist/M'She to prove him/herself at the start of the game, IIRC.

Actually, Saber begins crushing on the Main Character as soon as the second match, when the main character is still fairly pathetic in terms of motivation.
