Same as it does in the US .

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuude what? An air rifle has barely any chance to pierce the rabbit's fur and skin unless you try to shoot it point blank with a tipped bb. At best you're going to needlessly hurt them.
Even small birds are surprisingly resistant against air guns bb. You don't hunt living things with bbs unless you're intending to just harm them.
Inter arma enim silent legesI have seen a 400m/s break action pneumatic pelet gun that will peirce thin metal.
I would think you could hunt rabits and birds with that.

It wasn't a BB gun, that's a toy and my brother tended to kneecap me with his BB shotgun, the air rifle was an actual weapon, I remember us having to go though some form filling stuff to get it. It didn't fire B Bs, a quick google makes me think that it fired pellets.
"And the Bunny nails it!" ~ Gabrael "If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we." ~ CyranIn US military parlance, M16A2 stands for "Model 16 Alteration 2."
The US Navy and SOCOM, however, use the terms "mark" and "modification" (as in "Mk 48 Mod 1").

This Space Intentionally Left Blank.Angelus: They make air rifles powerful enough to take hog.
Some consider air guns more sporting then traditional fire arms because you have to get closer to the game to make your shots.
There are also plenty of hobby air/pellet rifles with enough power to be used to take small game. I owned one of the light weight Crossman hobby pellet/bb rifles. It had enough power it was rated for squirrel and rabbit with a.177 caliber pellet rifle. Pellets are preferable to BB's. Just like in guns the right projectile for the right job. There are a variety of projectiles for small game for the small caliber air rifles.
Warning for the squeamish these are hunting vids with critters being harvested as game animals.
Here is one of a guy taking Dove and Pigeon as game birds for a restaurant.

Who watches the watchmen?I guess I was using the wrong standard then but more than once I've dealt with pricks using regular target practice air rifles to "hunt" small game.
Inter arma enim silent legesJust like in proper fire arms there is a good bit of cross over between target and hunting. However you wouldn't use something like a Red Rider bb gun.
Who watches the watchmen? That feel when I should have held on to my Smith & Wesson and my Ruger stocks. Would have made so much more gains on it compared to when I did sell it. I did go into Taser not too long ago, am up about 15% from that.

Just linking this one last time. I can't do this alone.
AR 600 level III steel plate being penned by M855A1 . This by the way is the armor that stops Lapua magnum rounds at close range.
Ballistic Gel test. Pretty good actually.
so... I recently picked up a replica Winchester Repeater at a con (had some looooooong arguments with security about it, apparently it was "too heavy", thank fuck I printed out a fully copy of the rules) and I'm looking to paint some runes and shit on the side of it to make it look like a bit like this◊, so.... anyone know any good paints to use on wood and metal without damaging it?
advancing the front into TV TropesAnyone had any experience with the EAA Windicator? Looking into picking up a revolver, and $320 new at Gander Mountain for a non-Taurus 357 snubbie (plus GERMAN ENGINEERING!) seems like a breddy gud deal.
Half off-topic, given that my question is about a bayonet, but what does the "98/05" in the Seitengewehr bayonet for the Gewehr 98 refer to?
1905 pattern Bayonet for the 1898 pattern rifle.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Fry: You should maybe shoot Not So Bad Ass Long Coat a PM. He does a lot of prop stuff and makes some pretty impressive bits of kit.
Who watches the watchmen?Don't get too worked up over the alleged "German engineering.'' I've seen some German-made guns (RG Rohm, etc.) that were pretty crappy.
I don't have any personal experience with the Windicator, but judging from the reviews I've read... it sounds pretty hit-or-miss as far as build quality goes. Granted, it was intended to be an El-Cheapo, no frills, bargain basement defensive gun, but some buyers swore by it while others swore at it.
If it were me, I'd pass and instead look for something higher-quality on the used-gun market. But you're not me, so all I can tell you is: go take a look at one up close and personal. If you like what you see, buy it.

This Space Intentionally Left Blank. At the same time, don't get something just because it's American. There are a lot of s***** American guns out there.
German tends not to mean quality but that's just me being grumbly.
Oh really when?If German guns were any good, maybe they would have won a war in the last century.
Walther's pistols are still good, and the Mauser rifles and MG 42/3 are classics.

Their small arms were good, it was their obsession with uber weapon projects that ruined everything.

For the L85 variant of the S A80s, what does "A" (pertaining to the L 85 A 1 and L 85 A 2 sub-variants) mean?
