I have. It seemed pretty bland so I dropped it.

Well, the main reason I go on at all is more for the chat feature than the actual gameplay, though that part seems to (arguably) be getting considerably better as time goes on and the game gets more developed. Sure, it's no Rune Scape, but it has its virtues.

All Take Thats aside, the actual gameplay quality is pretty subjective. If you like Player Versus Player combat, it's safe to say that Sherwood's completely balanced in that department. If you want to fight monsters however, you have to get pretty high level yourself via Level Grinding (or get some friends, which is unlikely at best) to stand a chance against the more powerful ones, while bizarrely the lower level ones can still kick your ass because, once you exceed them in level, their combat values stay the same level as yours (no matter what level you are) and fighting them becomes something akin to pseudo-PVP due to the fact that, in even combat, your character is a Glass Cannon.
