Not indicative that it's an intentional shout out: Shout Out.Anime And Manga

I thought about that, but I wasn't sure if it got lampshaded in the scene's dialogue or not...wanted to get someone's take who's familiar with the series.

God I am going to have to watch the scene again... And it's episode 1 scene 1... Here watch this.

Planet Of The Apes +1

I know very few movies and shows... not even Planet of the Apes.

Wouldn't it be best to, say, have 2 pictures next to each other, one showing the original and the other showing the reference? For example, the image of the Anime Mario reference could be placed next to a screenshot of an actual Mario game. Just saying...

A pothole to the work should be good enough. Even if you don't know the exact scene being referenced, you could figure out that it's a shout out.

Well the actual Signature Scene from Planet Of The Apes is on Earth All Along.

(Spaceballs◊ and the simpsons◊ did a shoutout to the same scene.)

Theory, are there enough cross medium shoutouts that we could make all of the Shout-Out subpages the same one?

Umm I think that would be very hard to do finding the same Shout-Out across all mediums.

Especially Anime and finding a western Shout-Out Studio Shaft is the only one who does them really, Off hand though I can think of the Psycho Shower Scene though.

Can we find a generic Sentai Shout-Out in all mediums?
