Okay. So this is basically a conversation for EVERYONE who would like to join in on the convo.
Basically, anyone.
Anyways...welcome!!!
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

We must never confuse elegance with snobbery.HEY PET HOW IS IT GOING?
YOU NEED TO MEET MY WAIFU BRAH
hey faust. not too good. It seems if you have someone I dont and when I do you dont. THIS SUCKS
We must never confuse elegance with snobbery.-tentatively offers internet hugs to anyone requiring them-
but HOW?-Glomps Sea- Ineed.
We must never confuse elegance with snobbery.-huuuuuuuuuugs-
but HOW?-relaxes-
I just wish I was treated as nice IRL as I am on here.
We must never confuse elegance with snobbery.I think we all wish that, Pet :/
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartI'm not even that out there.
We must never confuse elegance with snobbery.Unfortunately, real life is more complicated than that, and even people who try to treat you nicely might be using ways which you won't consider nicely (which is possible here as well, but whatever) or have crippling mental instabilities or disorders, or 'ya know, just things that make it hard for them to treat you nicely. Just in general real life is much, much more complex than the internet. I suggest not putting it up on a pedestal.
Also maybe it's just me, but I don't really consider using -HUGGLES- and -Doing actions- as really treating people nicely so much as it is just wasting everyone's time and wasting thread-space, but that's my personal opinion.

It's showing affection, man. :/ At least, that's how I think of it.

but HOW?Honestly, I share Lior's opinion.
Personal feelings are personal. I just think it's an incredibly cheap method to do so which lacks any sort of effort to understand and help a person's problem, show affection with words.Or show affection by actually helping a person's problem, or make him understand the problem. If there even is one. If I wanted to roleplay I'd get to the roleplaying section, which I do.
Hey, if you think intensive analysis and dissection is the best way to be nice, you're free to do so. But I'd appreciate it if you didn't just automatically dismiss my own efforts as not good enough or genuine or whatever, okay?
but HOW?I have three hundred and sixty-two books in my room. I have read all but three of them.
Got a degree in Emotional trauma via fictional characters aka creative writing. hosting S'mores party in Hell for fellow (evil) writersYou're exaggerating what I said man, I meant actually trying to help and putting effort, not intensive effort, only so much a person can lend help to another, trying to help a person with his problems or giving advice or emotional support shows much more that you actually care than just spouting one word and adding -this thing- in between the first and last letter. I don't see huggles as effort unless they're real life hugging because real life hugging has nearly all the meaningfulness that its E-counterpart doesn't, like actually feeling another person's warmth, or lending one's body to another as a sign of caring, and showing that you trust them enough that you'd hug them. Hugging takes a lot of courage and trust. But all of that is taken away when it isn't actual physical contact.
While I admit to doing the hugs and junk, I at least try to back them up with actual advice and support.
