We'll have to wait for its opening sales (data should be out in ~5 days) before gauging if there's any shot at all of a second season, but I wouldn't complain if there was.

Hopefully, Hibiki dies. Haha, just joking. If there is a second season, it will be interesting to see what they come up with. Maybe they'll have a villain doesn't have such petty motivations.

Well, it was a very predictable ending after the last episode but I don't mind...

Any villain who loses the fight against the heroes and then responds by pulling a chunk of the moon down from orbit with pure muscle wins forever in my book.

Shame her motives for trying to blow it up in the first place were a bit silly.

You know, with the Toonami temp return on April Fools' Day fiasco, and the fact that people want it back more than ever now, if this series gets a dub, would it benefit being on Toonami?

I watched it... and I really liked it too, despite some unanswered stuffs. Like what created the very first pure Symphogear? How was it able to take on Noise without getting turned to ash? They could invest on that a lot. Still, for what it is, it's pretty good.

And since this series will probably sell more merch than the average anime, what with the music people will probably want and all, I wouldn't doubt a second season coming somewhere down the line.

Enjoyable show, overall. Shame that Minami Takayama got such few lines. I'd like an OVA prequel starring her and Tsubasa, or some sort of side adventure with Genjuro and Chris sharing a father-daughter dynamic and beating up Noise. It'd be nice.

Just watched the final episode, and it was fun overall. Mostly because of the gorgeous fight scenes and whole pulling down a chunk of the moon thing.

A second season? I guess it could work, since it seems the Noise are still around, but they're too weak. Unless some sort of Loud Noise exists. XD

Still, aside from the Noise, the only other thing that they have to deal with is, err, other countries. Political drama genre shift? XD But wait, the Noise was made by humans... who's to say they can't make them again?

I loved it. I mean, Hibiki not dying isn't even my favoraite part, my favoraite part was when the girls destroyed at least a fifth of the moon.

I'd like to see a second cour but the ending is amazing as is.

Out of curiosity, who exactly owns Symphogear? Noriyasu Agematsu? The director Tatsufumi Itō? Encourage Films, the production company? Kadokawa Shoten, the publisher?

I'd assume the creators and the (executive) producers, so Noriyasu Agematsu and Encourage Films.
