Y'know who else I've been thinking of wanting to see playable? And he isn't exactly someone people have been clamouring for...

Answer, Chipp's adjutant. I dunno man, there's something about him and his Japanese yen shurikens that piques my interest, maybe it's his fairly untapped backstory. His design is cool too; ninja in a fancy suit.

I feel like a dummy for asking this, but after getting hit with Faust's Ass Shove Super how do you change which card you're picking? I play Faust, and when using it on a second player he couldn't move the finger - which defeated the purpose of the whole "chance" angle. I thought it was problems with the second controller: I've been having problems with my PS 4 not allowing guests and additional profiles do certain things in local multiplayer, so I was glad to be able to play Guilty Gear in the first place.

But then while playing against a Faust later on, I got hit and realized I couldn't figure out how to move the hand either no matter what I pressed, so clearly we were just missing something. Apparently it's a no-brainer, because I can't find any answers online.

It should just be using the stick / d-pad to move the finger and making your selection. Maybe you have to wait for Faust to finish scrambling the cups first?

Hey guys. I can't imagine not too many people care about this, but I added folders for Answer, Randy and Daryl to the NPC's section of the Xrd character page. Will probably add in President Vernon too at some point.

So... I am currently watching the Revelator story mode.

...would it be bad if I admitted that I kinda want to drop this? It's just so convoluted so far, not to mention rather boring at times. It's kinda hard to get though it.

Did you watch SIGN's story? How familiar are you with the lore of the past games?

Yea, you kinda sorta need to play SIGN and Overture before things make a bit of sense.

I watched a let's play of Overture and watched SIGN's story.

I still want to drop Revelator, cause it's boring.

I personally felt it an improvement over Sign's pacing, but hey man, can't stop you.

I hope you didn't buy the game just for the story then.

I am watching through Youtube.

In fairness, not everything so far it's bad. Axl and Sol's conversation as well as Slayer vs Bedman plus The Imperator with Elphelt have been nice.

I'll be frank, some of my favorite moments of the Story Mode come from the later episodes.

It's up to you if you wanna keep going.

Yea, admittedly, it doesn't really pick up until later on.

That's pretty true of both Xrd stories.

It's more about showing how our characters have changed since previous games.

Decided to continue and finish it.

The latter parts were better yeah, but now I am wondering how will the story continue in the next game. There doesn't seems to be many loose threads.

Note: Apparently you can update the first Revelator with this for a discounted price instead of buying retail yet again (thank the lord) so hopefully they stick to that model.
