Ramelethal only cool newcomer IMO(thus far). Actually no Bedman is pretty cool.

Elfart's mechanic is kind of interesting(her target move reminds me of Alessi's gun) but the character itself just seems AWFUL and Sin is still the lamest guy in the roster.

The story seems hype though, will definitely watch.

This guy hates Patroklos so much. Not that he's not justified...

I like how Sin has a bit of a mirror to Ky's moveset.

At his worst, Sin's a Momma's boy who has issues with his Dad.

Patroklos was an outright prejudiced, blindly-lawful, arrogant and just god-damn annoying brat who developed into Generic Anime Hero.

I would compare the two, but Sin is by far in favor here.

Also, shout-outs to Sin's bad-ass win pose.

Come to think of it, is Sin a central part of the plot? I assume he is but idk for sure.

In Overture, I would say so. There were a good number of scenes dedicated to his issues with Ky, and he was the MacGuffin for the villain.

Judging from the fact that he's still around Sol in Xrd, it's safe to say he'll be prominent, though maybe not a central force in the conflict.

Given the fact Oriental Flower came from Babel Noise/Nose, think we should have themes that sound like something from Blaz Blue, like, if we get another character, think we should have something that sounds like Bullet Dance?

Speaking of Soul Calibur, Sin already sounds ten times better than that monkey Kilik replacing douchebag. He was such a bad character I don't even remember his name.

I really do wonder how his hunger system will work out.

While I'm still thinking to ask, do fans generally like Overture? It has a pretty bad Metacritic score but I've never heard any fan criticism against it.

by nature lukewarm is the best way to describe.

Spinoff? Based on the title, I was thinking it was a direct sequel to the first GG.

Hmmm true but due to the gameplay shift I consider it something of a middle ground between sequel and spinoff.

It's a sequel storywise, but a spinoff gameplay wise; kinda like Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

You know, if they ever make a Guilty Gear Anime, the best way for it to work would for it to be a total throwback to the 90's Anime era. Hand drawn animation, harsher lines, darker colours, grungier rock music, and more of a focus on the fights, which would be essentially like something out of Street Fighter II The Animated Movie.

So basically what i'm saying is that an ideal Guilty Gear anime would never be made.

I'd rather not have another Alter Memory thank you.

No, that would be the worse case scenario where they make a generic looking anime that tries to cram in GG 1, GGX, GGX 2 and Accent Core into a single 12 Episode Season. My ideal 90's tribute one would just have the first season be an adaptation of GG 1.

Oh heavens yes. Hell, i'd kinda fit the original game.

If we do get an anime deal, why not make them OVAS, which should be canon by virtue of explaining things the games don't. Here's what we could use:

1. How Johnny started up the Jellyfish Pirates.

2. Explaining who S-Ko is, if Ishiwatari hasn't Jossed the "S-Ko is Megumi (Axl's lover from the past)" theory yet.

3. I-no in general.

4. How Sol and Aria first met.

5. How Potemkin first met Gabriel.

Justice is back, and the newcomer in the latest trailer (Leo) will be playable as well. A couple of other featured are there too.

What really has me raising my eyebrows is the "Role Play Text Chat" for online modes. I have no idea how that's going to work in English unless they surprise us with a dub.

Also, Big Blast Sonic confirmed as the Console version's opening. And apparently the Console version's ending song is called Icarus.

Justice making a return intrigues me for damn sure. Heck it almost ensures her return as playable via DLC.
