That sounds like it could be just tailored to one characters. Not everyone in the team gets to use their abilities.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI'm not sure "could be wrong" is a very strong objection :) Just sending it up the flagpole to see who salutes.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I like that Every Character Gets To Shine Plot indicates that, well, every character gets to shine in it.
Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!I actually kind of think Plot Tailored To The Teams Strengths or something works as well.

It would be nice to still have a metaphor, but a more resonant, straightforward one.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Custom Something Something? Hm, not a metaphor. What kind of thing is made to fit many differently-sized-and-shaped pieces?

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. The problem with snowcloning off "Eigenvalues" is that "Eigen" all by itself is a common word in German (and Dutch), significantly more common than the hardcore math term, and that this common word has absolutely nothing to do with the trope.
Aw, this makes me sad. I loved this trope name.
Still, if it's not performing, can't argue with facts.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Speaking as someone with a math background, when I first read the trope page my reaction was, "What the heck does this have to do with eigenvalues, eigenvectors, etc.?" In fact, the trope has nothing to do with them, just with an abstracted meaning of "eigen" as described in the Irregular Webcomic link (without which I would never have understood the name at all).
At the very least, the trope description should stop pretending there's a close connection to eigenvectors. (Linking to the Wikipedia page is completely pointless, and Irregular Webcomic equally so, except for the explanation at the end.) It would be better to change the trope name to something more transparent.
The link to irregular webcomic is self referencing. The trope name came first.
Since there is no support for keeping the name, can we go directly to alt-name Crowner?
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.I think its safe to call.
I support rename but I would prefer using Eigenvalues Plot as the new name.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!That doesn't help much, if at all.
No, that name will not help the stagnation sadly.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickEigenvalue Plot is just as opaque as the current name.
SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)Every Character Gets To Shine Plot doesn't have that problem.
Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!Calling crowner in favour of rename. Hooking alt titles crowner.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI still like Eigenvalues Plot (the plural version; the singular version simply sounds too similar to what we alreayd have) better than the other suggested names.
Fanfic Recs orwellianretcon'd: cutlocked for committee or for Google?Changing to that won't stop the fact that the trope is languishing in obscurity. The issue here isn't confusion or misuse. The issue is flat out under use. Going from one obscure title to another won't do anything about that.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickMight I suggest Everyone Is Awesome Plot as the new title? Just as descriptive as Every Character Gets To Shine, but slightly easier on the tongue.
Sounds too much like World of Badass to me.
Fight smart, not fair.A problem I see with the leading option is that it will probably end up decaying to "most characters get A Day In The Lime Light eventually".

Pretentious quote || In-joke from fandom you've never heard of || Shameless self-promotion || Something weird you'll habituate toThat's why I don't want anything that loses the word "plot" in the name.

Crown Description:
Tailored Plot or Tailor Made Plot?
