I was wondering who D Major was, but then I found this.

.... OUCH. One of my uncles died due to cancer last year (used to heavily smoke in his younger years), so I can sympathize. Was he the only writer for Sugar Bits?

You are, of course, assuming that he's into that and not just a serial murderer-torturer of children who is simply depicted in a manner that is more akin to the common image of a child sexual abuser who uses a kindly older man image to trick children into falling into his paws for the extra creepy factor. There is more than one way to interpret the scene so far, you know?

I'm expecting a bait and switch. Set up what looks to be something completely bastardly and then have the reveal be actually innocent for once.

Heh, yeah, imagine if that turned out to be the case. Though that side "panel" joining the third and fourth middle panels confuses me.

I'm referring to the fact that Boobear was the one who's supposed to be talking all along, but the speech bubble in said side panel is pointing to "Ginger" and is phrased like she is the one who's talking. Maybe she's narrating to herself the whole incident after the fact for some unfathomable reason?
