I've recently been taking up the habit of trying to play games you usually play with just a console joystick with an arcade stick instead. Its... kind of a different experience. It takes a while to get used to, especially if tilting the stick a certain way makes you do something completely different than intended.

Though I wish games like God Hand didn't depend on both Analog sticks to do what it has to :V

That would be weird.

Lets see my current games with arcade sticks:

Left for dead 1/2 NO...

Call of duty Modern warfare 3 LOL NO..

Skyrim No...

I barely ever used arcades anyways. Probably dosnt helps...

Tales Of Symphonia.

...Given that it already has fighting game-like controls, it's not that much of a stretch...

Oh, lol, how about Warhammer 40000 Space Marine?

I've never used arcade sticks. But apparently that's the "correct" way to play Blaz Blue.

[up]Well, it's the "correct" way to play a lot of Fighting Games, except those that rely on analog sticks.

[up][up]Having tried it myself, it has its ups and downs. The "up" is that sticks seem to be a lot more responsive to my intentions when I'm going for double-quarter-circles (which somehow became vastly harder on a pad in Continuum Shift) or The Pretzel; the "down" is that it takes a good bit of practice to stop overshooting on the upswings of those motions and getting accidental jumps.

I also played Sonic 4 with a stick, and by golly it was fun.

I usually prefer a solid controller to a fancy arcade gamepad, but there's plenty of games I'd love to give a whirl with the 'ol fightstick. For some reason, No More Heroes tops the list. That game just reminds me of the batshit insanity the arcades used to peddle.

It went perfectly and you beat the game while rocking out to the end credits theme.

Well the logical thing to do would be to try it for arcade-style games that don't rely on analog (not that I want to bind any of you to logic, that's boring). I tried playing Contra Hardcore Uprising on a fight stick, it was... not bad, although the button layout was hard to get comfortable with.
