Probably, but it would be nice if they came up with something unique. Experimented a bit more.

i. hear. a. sound.Glad to see that this was revived. From what I know about the original story, it's definitely got potential. Looking forward to seeing it.
EDIT: Wait, apparently this movie is unrelated to Frozen. Huh. Fooled me.

Wrong Snow Queen.
Pweddy, though.
Ohh, pretty indeed! I'm watching that.
Doesen't look *cold* enough.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntMakes me wish Disney will reconsider the medium for Frozen.
That trailer is for a russian produced version of The Snow Queen, it's not Disney's Frozen.
I can't have you close, so I become a ghost and I watch you, I watch you.Someone said that 4 posts above you.
Uh, you're right, sorry.
I can't have you close, so I become a ghost and I watch you, I watch you. That Russian version looks very impressive. I hope this gives Disney a kick in the pants and a lesson on the dangers of dragging their feet, but I worry that they will only decide to cancel Frozen altogether.
It won't be canceled, especially with a release date 19 months away. They are already in the early stages of production due to Animation Lead Time.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/Apparently Kristen Bell got the lead role, except they don't specify which "lead", so is a guess between Gerda and the Snow Queen. I really think she would sound very off as the Queen, then again I'm not so crazy about the idea of her voicing Gerda either.
I can't have you close, so I become a ghost and I watch you, I watch you.Definitely. Watch the musical of Reefer Madness; she does plenty of singing in there.
Speaking of singing, there's a rumor floating around that Idina Menzel will be voicing the Snow Queen.
Oh, please be true...
Looking for some stories?Considering the RUSSIAN track record of The Snow Queen, I'll probably see this one and then see... Urgh "Frozen"
I'm having to learn to pay the price: I am on board like a cruise ship if this turns out to be true.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaAnybody doubt that Disney shall scrape off all Christan references?
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."We got details http://www.stitchkingdom.com/disney-frozen-kristen-bell-idina-menzel-debut-theaters-november-2013-21106/
Idina Menzel will voice the Snow Queen
Kristen Bell will play Anna
Music is being done by Robert and Kristen-Andersen Lopez
So it's got like zip all in common with with the story, in order to avoid the eternally frozen copyrights that Disney favors so very much.
Good point actually. Disney is actually increasing the world's supply of literature (of currently unknown quality), rather than merely stamping visuals onto a time-worn classic.
This is only an upside and purely "value added" as anybody who doesn't care for the Disney version will still have the classic story forever, right?

"Show us the Galaxy Warp."Just like Jungle Book!
To be honest, I'm okay with this. -ducks-
Just because they're changing it doesn't mean it won't be good! In fact, the eternal winter thing was an idea I had which I was kind of hoping they'd do. Anna and Kristoff are good names, and they sound like interesting characters. Who's to say the Snow Queen won't still be evil? And even if she isn't, we've got Idina freaking Menzel voicing her.
Also, there's no reason they can't work the original story into this one. Maybe Kristoff gets captured and Anna must complete the journey alone, or something of that ilk.
This is now my most anticipated film of 2013.
So are the Avenue Q guys starting to become Disney's go-to songwriters when they can't get/don't want Menken? They did Winnie The Pooh, which I heard had good songs.

Looking for some stories?
aw, that's too bad; kinda wanted to see it hand-drawn. But if the plot and characters are good, then that's just fine by me.
