The second image is actually two separate images, which is strange. I like the second set slightly more, though. Maybe the two can be combined and shrunk down to a more manageable size?
"I know where I am, I just don't know where I am in where I am." - MeSecond "picture" is clearer and better demonstrates it, I think.
Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere. The trope is Money Spider, not Randomly Drops. The first is better than the second for this trope, the second works in Randomly Drops better (and there's the plus that Randomly Drops doesn't have an image right now).

There are no heroes left in Man.The trope description also mentions items falling off creatures, but I see your point.
On the other hand, Randomly Drops isn't about dropping titems that the creature should not own, but more about just randomly dropping anything and the annoyance of having to kill 50 bears to get 1 bear liver. Possibly "where did that bear get that gun" should be emphasized more in the description.

Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.Someone else can combine the two bottom ones into one image if they want, whichever page they end up on.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyNevermind, got ninja'd...not sure which I'd prefer for this page. The 2-parter needs to be sourced if we keep it.

Maybe we need two tropes, one about items and another about money. While normally both come together there are games where they don't. Also it's true, it seems Randomly Drops is not about random drops as I thought it was. In any case Money Spider suggests money from the enemy, not a longsword. That's why I prefer the first image.

There are no heroes left in Man.Since the panels on the second "image" were badly artifacted and quality swaps are free, I went ahead and put a merged image up. For easy reference, here it is:
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - Camacan
I prefer the first. The comic one is uncomfortably close to Randomly Drops.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman. The Comic is a perfect image for Item drops Randomly Drops. Not for Money Spider... as well it didnt drop money. (I understand some games you gain money by selling items dropped by monsters but that should be a whole other economy trope.)
The first one comes off looking like PiƱata Enemy though.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!It is, and it's mentioned there (Vendor Trash).
I think there's a problem with Randomly Drops and Money Spider. We lack a trope just about random drops, and I think we should have one. Randomly Drops is about how difficult is to get some random drops, and Money Spider should be more about the money and less about the goodies.
If we do that we can put the dinotreasure image here and the second in the random drops page.

There are no heroes left in Man.Would someone be interested in making one?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI took this matter to the TRS where it belongs. I think we should wait until something is decided.
That said I think the best image for Money Spider is the dinotreasure one.

There are no heroes left in Man.I prefer the second image. Well, the set of two. Perhaps we can shrink it a bit and make it one image. There's no reason for this trope to have two pictures.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Bump...someone took the comic off the page. Do we want to put it on Random Drop, or just lock this and leave that page without a pic for now?
It was put on Impossible Item Drop, which is the best place for it. So, I think we're done here.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyAgreed.
Seems like Random Drop still needs a picture, but that could be hard. Someone can start that thread when they have a new suggestion - no need to continue this thread.
Cool; with that being the case, I think we're good to lock up.
So there's two images. Was this intentional, or should we get rid of one?
I like the second for being clearer, though it doesn't show actual money (not that it has to) and it's huge.
