Pretty Cure general thread

am I the only one getting "Oh God he's a psychopathic monster out to kill us all" vibes from Joker?

Comon theory is that they are fairy tale characters or something of the like.

I was thinking that the characters would be Snow White and Rose Red. Anybody remember those people

Anyways I missed the episode again because I was in the city watching a play. Guess I'll just wait till the subs are out.

Subs for ep 7 are finally out.

It took them longer than usual.

Lol at Pummel Duel between Candy's Ears and the Akanbe of the week's tongue.

Holy crap I have never laughed so hard at a Pretty Cure episode before.... It might be the funniest episode in the entire franchise.... And here I thought it was going to be a repeat of Fresh Precure episode 10 but it ended up focusing on the opposite end of the spectrum.

I especially liked the hairstyle change with the body switch.... They put some money into Cure Candy's transformation too (unlike Fresh Precure's.)

The Comedy in this series is really damn good, the Magical Girl Warrior aspect is almost taking a backseat to that.

I know, I really like the comedy in Smile. There's general goofy stuff (like Yayoi's pun in episode 10) and there's a lot of self-aware humor as well, since Miyuki is very familiar with fairy tale tropes and Yayoi seems to be a fan of superhero stories as well.

They got transported to a Sentai Secret Headquarters set of all places.... I about died when they panned over.

Precure has always been Genre Aware but this show tops Futari Wa Pretty Cure and Heartcatch Precure's antics. (Heartcatch's Hot-Blooded Go Nagai Side Burns Precure Doujin artist's episodes with his mom were my fav up till this.)

So the Hair style switch when they switched bodies, Expository Hairstyle Change?

We need a pretty cure general thread... Anyone mind if I PM a mod to have the name changed to something like "Smile Pretty Cure and Pretty Cure general thread"?

Maybe just ask them to rename it to the "Precure General Thread"?

No, bad idea. At least I hate reading threads that have too much general interests that pile up into several tens of pages of unread posts each fresh visit

That was an amazing episode. The humor is pretty good. And while I would prefer to see someone else do the finisher (not the pink kamehameha isn't awesome it'd be nice to see the others.) Next week is Yayoi transfer episode!

WMG: At the end of the episode, a new student will transfer in. (Again. Right after Miyuki does. And of course someone will lampshade it.)

I really really don't think we will have that many posters in here for that Pretty Cure is not that popular here... Seriously I double posted a day apart because no one bothered to post... and I wanna talk about other series too.

Ah. I've got my own fancure/curesona but seeing as she's a combination of various fancures with changes I'd never actually use her fiction.

I gotta agree fan fics are rare as hell outside the original "Sailor Earth" teams.

So fav cure? For me it's a tie between Cure Black or Cure Moonlight. Wildly different girls (Malaproper Genki Girl Hopeless Romantic almost Tomboy vs a Tall, Dark and Bishōjo Broken Bird.) but awesome.

Well I'm only a little over Heartcatch and Suite but completely up to date with Smile. Favorite Heartcatch cure is Cure Marine. Favorite Suite cure is Beat. And favorite Smile is yet to be completely decided but so far it's a tie between March, Sunny and Beauty.

Fresh: Berry

Heartcatch: Blossom VS Marine.

Suite: Rhythm.

Smile: Happy VS Peace.

Cure Passion overall but that's only cause I've only seen the entire (subbed) Fresh so far. Watching Heartcatch now (one episode-a-day) and I like Cure Marine. For the Suite, Cure Beat. Smile is harder since it hasn't been out too long so I guess I'll go with Cure Beauty.

Is it just me, or is it extremely hard to find episodes of Precure? Along with that, anyone got any fanfiction recommendations for Precure? I'd ask for no Sailor Earth ones but considering that's already impossible...
