Sonic Generations, my first self-christmas gift(the other being Mario Kart 7) arrived today, along with Rayman Origins, which I can't play until the big "X". My Lady Gaga concert Blu-Ray movie(Over two hours long with an amazing set list) is on its way, and next week my complete Harry Potter Years 1-7(8 pc) Blu Ray set will ship.
And finally, I'm getting back into writing. Inspiration has struck and I'm working on my book, my play, my screenplay, and I've written three more songs. Not only that, but I'm back to painting and drawing. I've realized that the reason I can't create art I'm happy with is because I'm an abstract artist. When I experiment and strive to create what I feel, I'm finally happy with my work.

I got to see a dog that had been fostered for a while. He had originally been nearly paraplegic due to being hit by a car, but over several months we nursed him back to health and now you can't tell he ever had any walking problems whatsoever.
He jumped up and licked my nose when I first saw him earlier today, and he wanted to follow me all over the clinic today.

When I started orientation, I met up with a childhood friend who's also a freshman. We went to a football game together this evening. Even though we haven't spoken in years, we pretty much picked up right where we left off; hanging around, watching You Tube videos, gushing about animation, etc.

Looks like I'm finally gonna get my own place. After 24 years of living with family, my apartment application was accepted, and the landlord told me I'll be able to move in no later than a week from Monday.
I'm kinda nervous about living on my own, but mostly very, very, excited.

I'm going to do a mecha Visual Novel project, and being a fan of Pacific Rim was a major point in getting the role.
I get to play a badass Asian soldier/mentor who fights living nightmares with fucking mecha. I don't know whether I get paid or not, but MECHAAAAA.

Well, my internship so far has consisted of editing videos (using templates and such). I delivered 12 short previews (of a few episodes of an interview series) today and I'll deliver the other 4 tomorrow.
It's soft work (after all, it's only my second week), but I've done well, with one of the bosses/supervisors complementing a couple of them.

I forgot how awesome it is to have one on one time with another girl. I don't have too many female friends. I'm also staying in Illinois for a week with great people and a great purpose, I'm always happy to get put of my home state. I feel like I always post about my first world boy problems or manic anxiety posts, so I thought I'd throw in some positivity today.

Well, it's a curricular internship, and it seems quite unlikely that it would be extended. Most of the people working there are on internships (curricular and professional), and since the end of the internship is already established...
Still, I have a good chance of getting another internship in another company next year, so, I won't become a NEET.

I enjoy history, but I decided against majoring in it because the only careers I could think of for it were teaching and curating, and I wasn't really interested in either. Although I'm reconsidering the curating.
