Jaclyn's voice enchanted thousands of children and viewers and she brought her own special personality and character to Caillou. She was a very talented performer and will be deeply missed by us all. On behalf of everyone at Cinar, I want to express our most sincere and heartfelt sympathies to Jaclyn's family.
Stuart Snyder, President of Cinar from 2003-2004

Jaclyn Michelle Linetsky (January 8, 1986 – September 8, 2003) was a Montreal-based Canadian actress and voiceover artist.

She began her career in 1994 at the age of 8 and went on to appear in many stage productions, TV shows, and cartoons produced in Canada. However, she became most famous for playing Megan O'Connor on 15/Love and succeeding Toronto-based child actress Bryn McAuley as the voice of Caillou beginning in the second season.

Tragically, she was killed in a horrific car accident on September 8, 2003 alongside fellow 15/Love co-star Vadim Schneider (who played her character’s love interest, Sebastien Dubé). The two had been on their way to the set of 15/Love in St. Cesaire, Quebec, at the time and were both only 17 years old.

Filming for 15/Love was cancelled for two weeks by the producers to allow for some time to grieve for the young actors’ untimely deaths, and the writers decided to write Linetsky's and Schneider's characters out of the show by killing them off in a plane crash. Additionally, Annie Boivard succeeded her as the third and final voice actress for Caillou.

The Caillou film Caillou's Holiday Movie and the 15/Love episode "Curveballs" (along with the Series Finale) were dedicated to her memory. As was the season two episode of What's with Andy? "Nurse Jen", since she voiced Andy’s love interest Lori Mackney on the show during the second season.
