Seeing as Sony has finally started realeasing PS 2 games for download on the Playstation Network (Just bought Odin Sphere and God Hand smile), what games would you like to see on there? (Assuming they dont make HD Remakes of them)

My list:

I think it'd be smarter to do an HD rerelease (or even a remake) of Okami for the Vita.

I'd like to see Level 5 RP Gs make it on there (Dark Cloud, it's sequel, Rogue Galaxy...), as well as GUST RP Gs and the PS 2-era Ace Combat games.

Seconded on Dark Cloud (I'd like to see the second one, personally).

Also, Suikoden III or Suikoden IV wouldn't hurt (if Konami would allow it, that is).

The Yakuza series installments from that era? How about Valkyrie Profile 2 since it was well-received.

Also, The Dragon Ball Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi series, since they were always good for a weekend. Capcom Vs SNK 2 was also an excellent creation.

How about the Sands of Time installments in Prince Of Persia.

Isn't there already or going to be a Sands of Time collection for modern consoles?

+ 1 to Dark Cloud.

Also, the Wild Arms and the Zone Of The Enders series could use some love.

EDIT: OH WAIT.

I wouldn't know, I don't follow the series, I just went with something popular (I've played the first one, but quit after getting stuck in a certain puzzle). It would make sense though.

Since Sony is probably going to release all the major trilogies/franchises on updated discs, this new system probably makes more sense for single releases and hard-to-find cult classics (like God Hand).

Seconding Okami.

Seconding the Dragon Ball Budokai/Budokai Tenkaichi games on PSN, HOWEVER, I think Infinite World should be put up first as not a lot of people have played that game and can get a a copy of it.

I also want to see Digimon Rumble Arena 2, and I can't even remember any of my old PS 2 games that I'd want on there.

[up]I'd say Super Dragon Ball Z would be more likely. It's one of the very few Dragon Ball games to receive awards, high praise and even a competitive-play scene*

and yet had pathetic sales.

True. But I fucking hate that game.

[up] God of War Chains of Olympus and God Of War Ghost of Sparta are also getting that treatment as God Of War Origin's Collection.

Just a point of conjecture, only one of those is an actual remake - Final Fantasy X. The Rest are just graphical updates - Final Fantasy X has them making everything again with a new engine.

That's true, but those games aren't the ones that will go on the PSN as PS 2 classics.

No, that is what I was reffering to. People often forget it when talking about Ps2 games on the Ps3, but by every measure you can think of, it counts.

[up][up]Dark Resurrection was released years ago on the PSN. It's almost totally identical to Tekken 5, so this isn't likely.

How about Star Ocean 3? Sure, it was two discs long, but I'm sure it would sell well despite the price (it was longer than most games being released now).

How about some Capcom titles? I was thinking:
