...what, you were expecting this to be a video game music thread that would not have any mentions of Touhou anywhere?
Final Fantasy VI, Dancing Mad Teirs 1 and 2
Don't make me fire Pinky's party cannon.Technically not the final boss, but certainly en epic theme to the game's Climax Boss.
Say what you may about Dungeon Siege 3, but the game had awesome music in general.
This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet. This one is a final boss battle in the same sense as Yu Yevon in Final Fantasy X; it comes directly after the last challenging boss in the game, so the game is effectively already in its ending sequence when you fight it. It has a very different aesthetic from any other final boss music I can think of.

...eventually, we will reach a maximum entropy state where nobody has their own socks or underwear, or knows who to ask to get them back. When you're facing down the final colossus...
Powerful, yet quite subdued. The fact the Agro seemingly died a few seconds before helps the epic feeling.
EDIT: Replaced for a better video, although the image is misleading. This is indeed Malus's theme, not Gaius.

...Let us in...Is it just final boss theme music? Awwww.
Seeing all these piss ant tropers trying to talk tough makes me laugh. If Matrix were here, he'd laugh too. This
There's not a lot of chanting but it's awesome nonetheless. It's also really freaking creepy for a Pokemon game.
The sequel's music was also pretty awesome!
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Gotta show my love for this tune:
Not just the chanting, but the fact that this is a game where you play a surgeon. Ominous Latin Chanting when doing an operation is so absurd it's awesome.
Don't take life too seriously. It's only a temporary situation.
Yes, It's a cliche. There's a reason it's a cliche, though- it gets you pumped.
Okay, maybe I've only played a couple of good games lately, but take a listen to this:
Now, do you have speakers? External speakers, not some tinny thing that's built into the television or laptop.
Hear that bass? Hear those drums? Those make all the difference. At first I was all like, "Oh, just more chanting in some language I can't identify with a generic dramatic orchestra behind it", and was about to go on being jaded. But hearing all the layers, and those slow drums during the slow build-up... totally different experience.
So, final boss themes with chanting. What's 'your favorite?
P.S. Seriously, does anybody here speak the language they are singing in? Translations are welcome.
