I have a new article up on my blog site.

Read my stories!I've read about that. One commenter said that it was all a waste of tax dollars and prisoners should be able to read what they want, regardless of artistic merit.
Why Being Gay in Rogue Legacy Means Nothing: an interesting article on Rogue Legacy, its purely cosmetic "gay" trait, and the reactions to it.

Rapturous Research, an essay on a condition I personally know all too well.
(Yeah, I'm doing an Archive Binge on the NYT's commentary pages on writing, but this and the above stood out.)

Swimming in a Sea of Shit: the Internet's War against Creatives. Not cheerful reading, I gotta say.
Has anyone done a website solely dedicated to not only gathering articles on writing, but providing detailed summaries?
I know a lot of blogs do article dumps, but I want to do really detailed summaries so people can find what they want and get things done fast instead of clicking through dozens of links with vague titles and descriptions, which has caused me a lot of pain.

The last battle's curtains will open on stage!Nice article
Read my stories! So You Want to be a Writer? That's Mistake #1: The title makes it sound unnecessarily hostile — it's really about making sure you know why you want to write.
Seriously, though, would appreciate others tossing interesting articles they find here from time to time. I tend only to read what I stumble upon wandering my usual progressive, tech, and gaming circles.

^ I might start posting articles here, every once and a while again. I also have a twitter list of writers who mostly post articles I could post here, I'm pretty sure non-twitter users can view lists too so you don't even need a twitter yourself to benefit from it.
And here's the list: https://twitter.com/vyctorian/lists/writing-blogs-bloggers
I might create a Chuck-less list, I love his commentary but he does tend to tweet a lot of non-writing stuff in addition to articles.
