This comic◊ from Awkward Zombie comes to mind.
"We are not a stuffy encyclopedic wiki. We're a buttload more informal".XD! That's funny
Either of those would work.
Reaction Image RepositoryThe Tarzan image is great, IMO.
It's good, but if we can get a link to a news story about the orangutan, that'd be even better.
I'm not sure about the Tarzan one...aren't we already using a similar idea/picture on Raised by Wolves?
That being the case, I'm honestly JUST saying that...because I hope to heck that the Orangutan one wins and becomes the page image, it's so cute!
This is Mimi-don't let her cuteness fool you-she's got spunk.I fooled around with that Awkward Zombie comic a little.◊
"We are not a stuffy encyclopedic wiki. We're a buttload more informal".Rather big, unweildy, and low quality, sadly. It's an example, and it's funny, but I don't think it's a good page image.
"You fail to grasp the basic principles of mad science. Common sense would be cheating." - NarbonicClock is set. I'm good with the tortoise/hippo pic, linked to the article.
The hippo/tortoise pic is already on Crack Pairing though... and it really works well there.
It was either a penguin or a panda, but the choice is far less black and white than you would think!Something similar to what's on Parental Substitute would work.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.1◊ A hen raising a duckling.
2◊ Another one. And the news article about it.

If a chicken crosses the road and nobody else is around to see it, does the road move beneath the chicken instead? The hen and duckling looks nice. the 2nd picture just looks like a hen standing next to a group of ducklings on a farm.
Yeah, the first one.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. The first one's good enough. It's up and tagged; locking up.
This trope was hanging around on YKTTW for a few months without activity, so I cleaned it up a little and just launched it after announcing the 3 day waiting period. I think a picture could work for this, but I'm not sure what.
If I had either of the Hellboy movies on hand, I could get a screenshot of Hellboy himself being raised by Dr. Bruttenholm. The movies show him picking up Hellboy as an infant and craddling him in his arms, and later telling him a bedtime story on Christmas Eve when Hellboy was a kid.
Any suggestions (and entries to the trope itself) would be appreciated.
