... Why Misato's car?
Depending on how widely you define "vehicle", spaceships like the Bebop count, of course.

I think this thread is more appropriate for Manga & Anime conversations.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Um, The Mach 5?
Also, not sure this is the right place, unless this is for some fanfic or something.
No one believes me when I say angels can turn their panties into guns.Cool Car does have an anime section, right? Look there.
Also, Takumi's GT-S.

Project progress: The Adroan (102k words), The Pigeon Witch, (40k). Done but in need of reworking: Yume Hime, (50k)Maybe that motorcycle in Akira?
I have to wonder why you're asking this on Writer's Block and not, say, the Manga & Anime section of the forums.

/* Also, not sure this is the right place, unless this is for some fanfic or something. */
It is.
/* Depending on how widely you define "vehicle", spaceships like the Bebop count, of course. */
I'm looking specifically for modern-day-ish ground vehicles - cars and motorcycles. So the Mach 5 and the Akira bike work. Anything else?
@tinwatchman: It's not a roadster, it's a Fiat Nuovo 500 with custom engine mods.
A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!I stand corrected, then.
We've already mentioned several others.

Then again, yeah, roadster makes me think of the Mercedes-Benz SLK-class, Jaguar XK or Porsche Boxster.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelNah, the iconic lemon-yellow car's a hard-top with a sunroof. The convertible/roadster is onscreen for like five seconds in the flashback sequence, later in the film; that one's Arsene Lupin Issei's old 35hp Moreau-Lepton, unless I miss my guess.
Man, that thing would have been almost sixty when he inherited it; that is a quality automobile.

I saw. Thanks! Just wanted to see if anyone had any other favorites.
Takumi's AE 86 Trueno from Initial D and Akio Asakura's Devil Z from Wangan Midnight.
How did this thread get necro'd?
Project progress: The Adroan (102k words), The Pigeon Witch, (40k). Done but in need of reworking: Yume Hime, (50k)My bad, was I not supposed to?
I don't think it's against forum rules, I just find it weird that out of all our buried threads, this is the one that comes back from the dead a year later.
Project progress: The Adroan (102k words), The Pigeon Witch, (40k). Done but in need of reworking: Yume Hime, (50k)It's also in the wrong forum. I hollered for it to be moved, but no-one responded...
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.
So I'm wracking my brain trying to come up with a list of recognizable (modern-day) cars and vehicles that have been featured in anime. The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are:
- the yellow Vespa from FLCL - Misato's car from Neon Genesis Evangelion - that roadster Lupin drives at the beginning of Castle of Cagliostro
Can anyone help me out here?
