I just read the last 3 chapters and all can think is Kuroki's Basketball. There should be a trope named "Lucky Shout-Out".

Big Tear Jerker

I guess this chapter is a realistic approach when Tomoko tried to do the same things as some famous animes but in the end fails leaving her in a delusion... But yeah heartbreaking.

crap, this chapter is realistically depressing and melancholic.

reading it, I was like "Aaah...... You're finally giving in to despair and plunging into the dark side, aren't you? I know the feels. Buy me a souvenir fridge-magnet when you get there"

Tomoko is pretty delusional, isn't she? Maybe she should have tried joining a club instead.

I would join her club if I could.

At least her club wasn't approved and no one showed up.

Really cruel chapter. She tried to find people like her.

At the end of each chapter I think about suicide, massacres or dream/nightmare world catatonia. This one added to the latter which for me is the scariest one.

Instead of forming a club she should have tried to join something like the volunteer club. She really needs forced interaction ASAP.

D'aaw, this has got to be the most hilariously tragic chapter yet.

My middle school actually had a club similar to that called Game Club. It was actually very popular and had around 20 members (small school).

Damn this manga is just so depressing. I can't even enjoy the comedy because I feel so bad for the girl.

It makes me even sadder when I just think that until about a year ago this was my life.

Don't be sad. If it was really only a year ago, then that means that at any time, it's possibly only one year until her life turns around too!

Not at all. I just said it can totally get worse. With effort.

It's more that I'm saying "It could get better."

You know, if not for the fact that that would subvert the entire core of the series. So, yeah, it's almost certainly not going to get better, at least not unless the series is ending.

In a way, we should all hope that the series will end, so that something good can finally happen to her etc and it'll be heart warming and the like. But alas, our cruel hearts continue to seek her pain so she can be our precious woobie.

Oh, it's perfectly possible for things to get better for her... it just means they'll get even worse later on. :3

next chapter(s) will probably feature a mini arc with her getting things her way, reaching a surprisingly happy moment then it'll fall all the way to bedrock again. Oh god, the world is cruel to Mokocchi in and out-universe.

Well it's clear that Tomoko wants to change her life style and in-universe she also has people supporting her. She is not a lost cause...yet.

Yet. But seriously, the way things are and have always been since the beginning of the comic, I just can't imagine a situation where she'd, say, befriend a boy and get a love interest out of that, or something. As far as the manga's pattern and personalities are concerned, Tomoko is more likely to lose her virginity to Yuu. And by now, that's just a possible one-sided crush, but at least it's someone she can talk to at all.

Well I hope she will at least get a bit better. Like having one friend or actually doing something cool for once. Otherwise this is too depressing for a gag manga.
