The current leader is somewhat bulky and awkward.

Get a slant at this glossary of Pulp Detective terms. It rates. Pipe that?Extremely... I just kind of suggested it as a start off point.
Its their Transformation Introduction.... it seems to be a perfect name and all of these have a catchphrase introduction with said name in it with their transformation. Hell team examples do it twice.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Well, it seems to be popular nonetheless. I'd almost suggest Final Form Introduction or Final Form Name Drop, but maybe "final form" isn't the right phraseology. In any case, the leader, despite what I said earlier, is still the best thing on the table.
EDIT: Just thought I'd also toss in that the page quote doesn't feel quite right. At least for the first thing you read on the page after the title. Not knowing the source, the quote sounds to me like a hero yelling—or roaring as the trope title would indicate. Meaning if I were coming in fresh, I would be confused right from the get-go.

Get a slant at this glossary of Pulp Detective terms. It rates. Pipe that?Final form isn't this trope though its just Post Transformation Introduction. (A final form is the one most likely to NOT get this.)
And yes the quote is not this trope it is just yelling. This trope is pretty much a minute 20 till the end of the video... it took 3 minutes :O.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Not only is the page quote not an example of the trope, the page image isn't either.
What part of "it's more specific than just an introduction" don't you understand?

How so? (Serious here) after a transformation they will introduce themselves which will always include their name... (most of the time still stock footage), some are quick in a "We are X" or go into a long catchphrase stating their motif or element along with their name. Some do it twice with introducing themselves then all together as a team maybe with a "Super Sentai" Stance (not always). When they issue a direct challenge or an "I am going to kick your ass" That part is In the Name of the Moon.
That is the trope and Post Transformation Introduction is a perfect name. (If you think it's more restricted than that we should really do a rewrite because this is a serious thing in Magical Girl and Sentai that is standard for the former for a long time, Cutie Honey used it in 1973.)
Sometimes these sequences get changed up a bit like getting delayed due to enemy attacking first or waiting for the character to think up their name, or have the actual transformation cut due to time or them being off screen saving that part for their entry.
I opened an image picking thread on the image.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!First line of the trope's description:
So it is more specific than just an introduction. Now, if your desire is to broaden the definition to mean "Post Transformation Introduction", which may or may not include an announcement of their new form's name, that's a whole other issue altogether.

If you are introducing yourself it will include your name (or else it wouldn't be an introduction really) and even shouting your name or form name is an introduction. (Unless it physically does something which is an other trope.)
And yes this should be about their entire Post Transformation Introduction that is the entire purpose of this trope. (watch the video I posted 5 posts ago [1].)
If not it really should be split off and just leave umm the like 1 example that isnt that (which seems like shoehorning) here because post transformation sequence introductions are all over at least two genres.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Calling crowner in favor of Transformation Name Announcement.
I'm starting the move/rename. Do people want to start looking for a new quote? Is the current definition good?
EDIT: The wicks should be checked to be sure they are transformations and not just "I am X, I'm awesome!" quotes. I'm not familiar with these sources, so I can't verify them.

Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.A new quote would probably be best - that particular Catchphrase gets thrown around in just about every context you can think of.
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanEverything is moved except:
Discussion page, specifically the archive.
TRS and IP threads attached to the old title. The IP thread is still active.
I don't know whether it's safe to do the redirect before those are taken care of.

Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.I've gone ahead and changed the target on the IP thread; we don't usually change the tag on a TRS thread unless the rename wasn't the last bit of work to do.
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanWell what about changing the quote?
Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.I went ahead and removed it for now for being the wrong trope(Gurren Lagann isn't even listed as an example).
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanConsidering the backlog here, can I just make the redirect and ask for a lock? Getting a new quote seems low-priority.

Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.Go right ahead - if somebody finds a good one they can add it without any fuss.
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanOK, just waiting for a mod to move the discussion archive.
Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.Discussion has been moved. Finish it up.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.It's been redirect. Hollering for a lock.
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - Camacan
Crown Description:
Previous crowner showed consensus support for a rename. This trope is about a character saying the name of their new form after transforming.
Okay, we're definitely ready to call this now.
