I like it, but it needs to be bigger to make all the speech bubbles more legible...and didn't we just go through all kinds of hullabaloo about this kind of thread?!

The image is terrible. The characters have to explain that it's a love chart; otherwise it just looks like a bunch of numbers.
An actual love chart would show characters, arrows tying them together, and whatnot.
This just seems like an in-universe version of Love Dodecahedron.
I'm almost positive we just had this thread.
No wait, you were right, it was Love Dodecahedron.

Fight smart, not fair.I modified the article to be less anime/manga specific, and pulled whatever that was in the image spot.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyWell, that was fast. Looks like Eddie stomped the image, as well as chopped down the article a ton.
edit: goddamn it eddie

What? That was a great image for this.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I wouldn't go so far as great, it was tough to read, but it demonstrated the trope well enough that I don't think it was necessary to pull it. But eh, Eddie has spoken, so I guess we should start looking for a new one.
Here's the pulled image, for reference:

Reaction Image RepositoryRemember which chapter that one was? instead of 290 pix wide we can go to 350 for readability.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Take out the speech bubble, and you're left with nothing. Nothing but a bunch of numbers.
Just putting up some random chart with numbers is Not An Example of the trope.... this is in-universe evocation of a Love Chart which that is what the panel does quite well you dont need to see the whole thing which is [1]◊.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!And why do you have to take out the speech bubble?
I don't think that image is good, let alone great, but I don't see anything wrong with speech bubbles.
Anyway, it's useless to discuss about that image becuase Eddie already ruled it out.
My point was that the image relied on the speech bubbles, which might as well have just been it relying on a caption. Speech bubbles are okay when they enhance the image's content, not define it.
So - would we be looking for something like this, but only for romantic relationships?
Be not afraid...After googling around, I found this◊, though it's a tad...big.
According to the trope page, it has to be included with the material itself, not fanmade. I found one from the examples that works nicely with a bit of cropping and scaling:
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - Camacan
That one actually works.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyNot bad.
That one is good.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.That's pretty good, what's it from?
This is just my opnion, but how about this XKCD comic. I think that it works because its somewhat of a lampshade.

In between Not Even Human and Not Quite HumanI'd prefer an image of an actual chart to an image of people talking about a chart, personally.
I'm sure there are way better examples out there.
