But... truples!

Edit: Also, if Regina still has all her magic in the real world, I hope she starts using it more often. That'd add a lot of tension to the present day stuff, which isn't moving too quickly right now. (though there's the risk of the show turning into the anti-Charmed)

Maybe she doesn't. Maybe the vault is just something that followed her into this world. After all, if she did have her magic wouldn't she have used it to get rid of Emma by now?

I don't think she's allowed to, because of her agreement with Mr Gold.

I'm assuming Regina has minimal or no magic, and the heart thing was an exception. Like how in a game, you can still use a magic item if your mana bar is empty. She can't do anything herself, but she can still use stuff she's already made.

It's just a theory, of course. I would kind of like it if Emma tries to shoot Regina, and she teleports out again.

Can Regina travel back and forth between Storybrooke and the fantasy world? I don't think she can, but if that's the case, then isn't it a lame plan to exile everyone to a prison of "no hope" and seal yourself there as well? I must have missed the episode which explains this.

[up]Only if there's a way to cast the spell without doing so...

The cost of casting the spell itself, and the fact that the caster would be trapped too, are the two biggest reasons why Rumpelstiltskin and Maleficent never used it themselves(likely more the former than the latter).

Honestly, at the time, Regina wasn't happy, and felt she had no hope of ever being happy already... Casting a spell that includes herself really isn't that much of a "bad" thing. Especially if she was more interested in ensuring that no one else had a happy ending(or hope of one), than being happy herself(likely because she probably believed that such a scenario would make her happy).

Aha. Does Rumpelstiltskin want out? That would explain a lot.

I think he's preparing for both options(never breaking the curse and breaking the curse)...

He is probably also trying to set the whole thing up so Rumpelstiltskin himself chooses whether or not the curse is broken(not anyone else)... Thus he can get the most out of it(like he does with every deal). He owns the town... He's going to want to not be in a cell when the curse is broken(and probably never return to said cell as well)...

I wonder if Regina can't have love in the Storybrooke world. Maybe she was banking on the curse (or whatever it is) not following her there.

I think that's part of the whole "hole that can never be filled" part. I think Regina really wasn't thinking things out when she went after the curse.

So the next episode, scheduled Jan 8, is about Emma running for a public office and the relationship between Rumples & Son.

This could be good.

[up][up] I don't know for sure. I know someone here mentioned that he wasn't Killed Off for Real, and last I checked he was credited for 22 episodes on IMDB (although, that's not always reliable).

Producers don't do imdb, fans do. It was probably just some dedicated person who thought they'd get the main cast credited for all the episodes ahead of time.

I usually think of it as being never reliable. Someone randomly credited Rene Auberjonois as the naked Segwey rider from Weeds once, but it wasn't him. I checked.

Though Auberjonois did wear a pink nightie on Frasier, so I grant you that it's not a stretch.

[up][up] It does if you substitute ground bones for the pistachios in pistachio icecream

But then it wouldn't be pistachio ice cream, it'd be ground bone ice cream.

...Is it bad that I hope the Huntsman is permanently dead? It'd be a pretty cool fridging, as fridgings go. And I really didn't buy everyone going on about how they're flirterers and in loooove and his HEART subplot was narmy until the Queen destroyed it, which was awesome.

I spent a lot of time going "really" during a lot of the "You two would be perfect together" scenes. How would Snow White/whoever even know? I mean, there's a perfectly reasonable explanation of it all happening off-camera, but I can't buy it from an audience's perspective. It doesn't feel earned.
