Elza will not be related to Henry.
But some sort of spell will turn Henry older.
And they will marry.
And boom: Related.
NO. FUCK NO.
I'd love it of Regina starting snarkily asking Elsa "So are you another one of my mother's bastard children?" Or some such banter...
I'm actually surprised that Elsa is going to be in this show. It makes me wonder what her role in this series will be. Are they going to make her into a villain, like how Disney originally intended for her character, or are they going to make her one of the heroes of the series who helps out Emma? It would be interesting to see where they take her character in this series.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!frozen is base in snow queen....snow...white....c mon troper, is right there in the damn name, you is going to happen, you can feel it
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Uh...actually it probably has more to do with Frozen being the most popular Disney title at the moment. Elsa will probably more in the vain of Regina. I honestly don't think she'll have anything to do with Snow White. She's more connected to Rumpelstiltskin at this point.
Something that struck me- in addition to the shared actress, Elsa is a rather similar character to the Wicked Witch in Wicked, which may explain why OUAT's version of the Wicked Witch is a very different (and far less sympathetic) character- because it allows for that characterization to be used for Elsa.

Edit, edit, edit, edit the wikithink is, we already have cora(who is everything regina is not) and zelena(pretty much regina 2.0) having another villian related to regina is pointless a this point, and i dobut they will connect to much else to rumple because he already have a connection with cora(former lover) and pan(father) and because the whole snow queen/snow white is just to easy for the writer to dont use it
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Elsa's turned morally ambiguous and has gained a very fragile sanity because some bad shit happened to Anna.
Nah she's probably going to be antagonistic and unreasonably aggressive in her attempts to find a missing Anna with Hans being the instigator of her disappearance and big bad for the first half of the season like Pan was only for the one pulling his strings to take over in the second half.
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des Ursins... "Let me explain the problem. I am The Queen of Winter, Immortal, indestructible, invincible. The only method I have ever discovered to not turn the world into a frozen graveyard is to love someone. Simple, no? Well, in fact it was getting a lot harder. I was 1267 years old when I was sealed up, and I had buried my sister, her husband, her children, her grandchildren, 17 husbands, 5 wives, and 93 adopted or step-children. Falling in love anew seemed quite impossible to me at the time. But I also am not overly inclined to spend any more time in boxes.. So, I hear there is this thing called speeddating?".
Because to Elsa, Happily ever after isn't an ending, it is a duty. *Mad cackle*

That makes sense, but considering they're going to be casting Hans and Anna, there's a good chance they're coming along for the ride. While it's not certain to happen, we know O Ua T's track record with bringing people into Storybrook. Especially with what they did in this last season finale.
I'll watch this coming season for sure, because I like Scandinavia's landscape and I want to see if and how they use it in the flashbacks and any world jumping the characters do.
ETA: Rolling somewhat with your idea, her arc could involve finding a loving partner, losing them, and trying to use magic to bring said loved one back. Or to make them immortal, if they were merely sick. We know she can make snowpeople, but they're new people, not the reincarnated souls of old. Otherwise, I somehow don't think Frozen would have turned out the way it did. Anna could have died, and Elsa would have made a Snow!Anna to keep her alive.
Hell, if Elsa could make real people into snow people, and she were truly immortal, she would have saved everyone as snowpeople when winter came.

I love it.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing. We have our Anna and Kristoff: http://metro.co.uk/2014/07/02/tv-series-once-upon-a-time-casts-anna-and-kristoff-from-disneys-frozen-4784692/
Kinda bummed that they didn't Kristen Bell on board, but this new girl looks cute.
Isn't she on House Of Lies? That would probably why they didn't get her, assuming they tried.
You lost!I'd like to get into this show, but I'd like to ask:
What exactly is this show, anyway?
Is it like a Disney deconstruction made by the Disney-owned big network? 'cuz GRRM has deconstructed Disney to a ridiculous degree years before.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. It's not so much deconstructed Disney as deconstructed fairy tales in general. The Disney references and such are just there because ABC is owned by Disney and Rule of Cool. Also a lot of the fairy tales are altered with original details blended into a mix of Disney and the original writings or condensed into each other. The big one is probably Rumpelstiltskin and Beauty and the Beast. Rumpelstiltskin is connected to EVERYONE. Either by blood or by contract.
Basically Emma Swan gets dragged to a small town of Storybrooke in Maine by the biological son she had in prison and gave up for adoption. Said kid starts trying to drag her into a prophecy that states she is the Savior (their word, not mine) that will break an evil curse that was placed on residents of the Enchanted Forest, that took them to our world and wiped them of their memories. The perpetrator is the Evil Queen from Snow White who is Regina Mills, the mayor of Storybrooke in our world, and Henry's (the son) adoptive mother. Smoosh in magic, angst, some VERY bad parenting, True Love, and a whole lotta world hopping, and you basically have the elements of Once.
Basically, you need to watch from the beginning, or you will be lost. Or just thoroughly read the Wiki pages on the show and all of the characters, like I did. And I really mean thoroughly. Here's the series promo:
Here's a fanvid that's just kinda fun and it gives you a taste of the look and feel of the show:

It's not really a deconstruction of anything. It's a small town drama show where the town is populated by fairy tale characters who are made somewhat more three dimensional than in their original stories.

lol that works too. But there is some deconstruction - of Good, Evil, whether Evil is born or made, and of True Love really constitutes.
EDIT: We have our Elsa: http://ca.eonline.com/news/556639/georgina-haig-cast-as-frozen-s-elsa-on-once-upon-a-time?cmpid=sn-111021-facebook-na-eonline

I'd call the show a Decon-Recon Switch. True, the show starts doing little more than pissing on the Black-and-White Morality of the Disney stories, but it eventually allows the characters to become heroes again.

It does take a lot from Disney's interpretations of those fairy tales, right? For example, the Frozen characters were mostly constructs of Disney instead of the more traditional figures from the Snow Queen fairy tale (which I have yet to read).
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. It's more accurate to say that several characters are a fusion of other fairy tale characters. You'll find out who as you watch, because you here would ruin the fun.
We don't know how much the Frozen characters in Once will borrow from their Disney counterparts. Probably quite a bit, but you never know. Sometimes there are call backs to Disney, sometimes direct references, and sometimes it's as simple as physical items or symbols.
The show is fanfic bait. Specifically, it's Fix Fic bait. Interesting setup, interesting characters, really unfortunate plot choices. Itchy. Its caused me to plot out several *large* fics, then look at the likely word count and time consumption and go work on something original instead. Not that I finish those either, but hey.. Someone involved has a much defter touch at background and characters than at plot. Possibly several someones.
Henry is Elsa's father, who'll be sent back in time in about five series' time.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!
