I'm working on a Mahou Sensei Negima fanfic now, but I'll pass, it's going to be an ungodly long project that will take years to finish. :/

It's an AU fic where the main character is born five years earlier (yes, he's not five years older, he's born five years earlier, this is very important). So instead of 10, he's 15 now, and spent the earliest years of his life travelling with his father's crew, aka team made of the most story breakingly powerful characters in the whole damn series.

Hey, I'm actually putting together my entry! Small question though: Any chance of a slight increase to the deadline? Just to give us Na No-ites a chance to catch up.

I almost certainly don't have the time...or the capacity to write as short a story as 6000 words...but god damn, those themes are tempting, and I reckon my friends in the Battle Royale fandom might appreciate some real fanfiction from me.

1st December deadline, I'd still have the whole of this weekend (though an extension to 5th would give me, and those finishing Nanowrimo, a second weekend...)

Yes, that WOULD be tempting.

Plus, my idea ends up encompassing more of the themes than I initially thought. I had two in mind, but looking at the list, I can see myself making a case for an addition one or two of them.

And I really, REALLY love my idea. Unlike my last contest entry, I have a TON of confidence in this one. I think it's going to be something good, I bet.

For me, not having written in a year means I really need something bite-sized to get me back into the swing of it. A story like this would be perfect, given the size (my chapters are typically 5000 words, let alone the whole story!). Hmm, options, options, I have a few...

Sure I would extent the deadline we don't have many entries anyways.I am sure a lot of people were busy in nano and a bit of help for then woldn't hurt How much extra time do you guys want?

I might as well post this now.

Real Life issues have come up, so for the moment I'm withdrawing from this competition. I'm simply not in a fit state of mind to be focusing on anything that isn't absolutely essential, and as such it isn't likely I'll finish writing and editing my submission before the deadline.

FYI, I wouldn't generally extend the deadline until the previous deadline is actually here, because in the past, we've gotten a lot of last-minute entries.

But I'm sure the Na Noers will appreciate this particular extension greatly.

Damn I am too late, Hopefully there will be another one of these.

You can join as late as you think you can finish your story by.

If the deadline has been extended to December fifth, I might try to throw my hat into the ring. Doubt the quality will be amazing, but it's always worth a shot.

Aaaand my entry is complete! I finished it by the original deadline after all! :P

I am a bit disapointed about the lack of interest. But I am gladd that some people did care enough to put their hearts to work and share with us a bit of your souls :) You Are all winners for me just for that :D
