Apparently, the Eagles have the worst fanbase, but I don't care, I'm now a fan.
It's been 3000 years…Any Philadelphia team has the worst fanbase. Philly is absolutely infamous for rowdy, nasty sports fans. Even as bad as New Yorkers can get, we have to bow to Philly on that score.

If you have a problem with Hokuto then tell it to me!Just about every thread on the internet has gone from a Superbowl thread to a Philly police radio thread. I'm probably gonna be listening all night.
INSIDE OF YOU THERE ARE TWO WOLVES. BOTH OF THEM WANT YOU TO SHOOT ELVIS.I guess there's no "D" in Super Bowl. Definitely glad the Patriots lost though.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes. As a non-NFL fan, the binary view everyone (even casual fans) has of the Patriots is amusing, and kinda scary. I thought the New York Yankees were Love It or Hate It but hoo boy, the Pats are something else.

Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects. It confuses me as well, being another non-NFL fan.
Disgusted, but not surprisedSomething about hating perennial winners and those allegations of cheating
That accident is sad, sucks to hear. Any Philly tropers, I hope you all are safe.
That said, apparently they were using hydraulic fluid to grease the poles
Success breeds contempt. We Pats fans welcome the hatred.
"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."There's also the fact that Trump loves the Patriots, too.
Watch SymphogearBoston and Providence never asked for him as a fan.
"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."I'm surprised that Der Trumpenfuhrer's Twitbook isn't already on fire with rants about either A. how he was always in the Eagles' corner and always knew they could pull out the win and how it speaks to America's will to be the best and so on and so on
or
B. Accusing the Eagles of pulling out every dirty trick in the book to cheat their way to a win that they don't deserve
I'm sure Trump will abandon his Patriots fandom now that we've lost the big game. I mean, he's the very portrait of a bandwagoner. It's not like he was there to see the Patriots almost move to St. Louis or poor Bledsoe get systematically dismantled by the Pack in '97.
"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."The best street celebration I've seen in Philly so far
| Wandering, but not lost. | If people bring so much courage to this world...◊ |I'm not an NFL fan, so I gotta wonder: given all of the jubilation in Philly and the rage in MA...is this normal?
Disgusted, but not surprisedThe Patriots are higher deities in our local pantheon. It's normal.
"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."I mean, the only reason that Football isn't the state religion is the 1st Amendment.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects. It was a head trip a couple of years ago when I went on a vacation in Mass and saw people walking around with Sons of Anarchy style jackets, except it was "Sons of Bellichek" with various Patriots related patches on them.
That was one of those "Wait... really?! Really?!" moments for me.

Let’s keep it classy Philly
what a gr8 game
tbh i like the patriots because watching a well-oiled offense is ridiculously satisfying so long as it's not against my team, but i also didn't want them to win another superb owl because they have too many already.
too many is defined as an equal or greater number than 49er owls
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." TwitterWe don't have enough. The Steelers have six. We need to make that record our own.
Then we'll have had enough.

"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."It appears the winner of the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes is....Minnesota!
I see that the thread has been rather inactive since last year. There sure is a lot of nothing happening in this so far.
It's been 3000 years…
I'm fucking enraged, to be honest. Our useless defensive line wasted three minutes and accomplished worse than nothing. They could have let in that touchdown at 5 minutes on the clock and given Brady and the receivers more breathing room. What the fuck did they hope to achieve against that unstoppable running corps? I spit on the Eagles and their victory.
