Chapter 10 of the manga version is out for those that care. This one seems the most Baka Test -like chapter of them all yet.
Okay, that elaborate fantasy of Mayu's was hilarious.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntHiryuu spammed episode 1-3 this time around.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I think sakurahana has one. No need to PM that: everyone's a pirate over there.
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuOi! Animetake removed the show from their list of subs! Is the show being licensed?
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura Chifuyu^Yeah, on CR, but it's a week behind, I think.
Episode 3 was pretty pointless. Did we need the entire episode to be about two girls talking about their feelings?
I think I have read somewhere that the episode feat. some events from the two girls' routes.
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura Chifuyu^I figured that was the case, but half the episode didn't need to be a girl talking to herself/her possessed keyring while taking a bath.
Although there were accidentally uncensored nipples so I guess that's something.
The episode served as character insight for the two girls, covering stuff that probably wouldn't come over very well in an animation unless you devoted lots of time to it. Kind of a welcome change, since Ep. 2 was a little character-derailing for most of the girls. This isn't really an adaption at this point - Looks more like it's a promotion for Majikoi S and the console port of the original.
That was probably the longest rant while having a nude woman with a sword step on your head I've ever seen.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntAnd it looks like the introductory monologues are continuing this episode. I kinda like the format, but it leads me to believe that there won't be much in the way of a big plot arc.
Recent episode...
Where's the Plot?
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuYou expected plot?
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntWell 4 out of the 5 girls have gotten their focus the next episode might focus on the 5th (which would probably have shit tons of fighting in it) or start up the main Harem Antics again or main plot (or both)
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!There is no plot?
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuSpoiler: The entire anime is an advertisement for the upcoming sequel/expansion to the visual novel.
Wanko is officially my favorite Maji Koi girl, yeah~
Now how about some fights :D
Seconded, my good sir!
I'm liking how both the girls and the guys in the Kazama family get roughly equal amounts of screentime, and the guys aren't just Those Two Guys or Bromantic Foils to the lead. That, in combination with the fact that Yamato is actually a pretty cool dude by himself puts Majikoi ahead of roughly 80% of the Unwanted Harem genre.
It has a kind of Little Busters vibe to it, don't you think?
Don't know why I felt a Medaka Box vibe...(probably just the main heroine)
Yeah this series is pretty fun. I started with the manga, so I'm wondering if there are drastic differences between each medium. I started watching the anime, but it was slightly strange to have huge battle right off the bat. Even though the girls are featured more, the guys still are developed somewhat. Yamato is definitely a lot more intriguing of a protagonist (since a lot of them in the harem genre suffer from being only audience surrogates).
I treat all living things equally. That is to say, I eat all living thingsYou could be forgiven for that. If Medaka Kurokami had red eyes and a permanent Slasher Smile, they'd be each other's spitting image.
Fushikawa is adorable in this episode. Especially her epic Face Faults. It's a shame that Yamato didn't pull out some sort of Xanatos-y plan to win the duel, though. It's a bit boring if his plan consists of getting beaten up over and over again until the opponent loses her nerve. Maybe he was trying to invoke Defeat Means Friendship in reverse?
Is anyone else getting a Gilgamesh kind of vibe from Hideo Kuki?

The vibe is VERY deliberately invoked in the game. Hideo's just a hell of a lot nicer about the whole thing than Gilgamesh ever was.
Is it me, or does Yamato feel like more of a Butt Monkey in the anime?

Is it the same type of ventriloquism that Yuki used on Shamisen or regular ventriloquism?
