So aside from the obvious pre-TGS trailers we've seen, I thought it was about time we had a thread of this installement which is coming out THIS MONTH! (Yeah, screw you No Export for You!)

And Emmy is love.

I have bought each new PL game for my sister for Christmas, and this year will be no exception. Especially since we're both mega-psyched for London Life.

This is wonderful news after the confirmation that Ace Attorney Investigations 2 will be stuck in No Export for You indefinitely.

Speaking of, anyone want to theorize as to why London Life is being left out of the Euro release? I have three theories, in order of descending likelihood:

  • The large amount of text to translate meant extremely lengthy delays in getting the game over.
  • They were worried about upsetting people in the UK who would go, "Hey! That's not what London is like!"
  • Tongue-sticking out for what happened with Xenoblade.

Wait, what? It's only gonna be in the US version? That's evil that is! They only bring the EU versions into this godforsaken country!

Oh no, we don't get London Life? :( I don't care about those Operation Rainfall games. Professor Layton is one of the few games I bought last year I don't regret.

I guess I'll import the US version?.....any advice for that? Unless it's region blocked like Pokemon Black and White..... :(

[up] About Pokemon? I heard on D Si or newer systems it's region-locked.

Unless it's gonna have D Si-specific features, it can't be a DS game and be region-locked. "Common" DS carts are never region-locked, even for the 3DS, it's a legacy thing. "D Si-enabled" carts are sometimes region-locked and 3DS carts are all region-locked, IIRC. So... can import. Hmm, I bet this will cost me an obscene amount of money... again...

Fantastic if true. He may be the extremely poor man's everything, but a foil of hamminess to Layton's subtlety? I am all for it!

[up]Is it bad that I Read that in Tim Curry's voiceor was that the vibe you were going for.

Now that I am caught up on the games (while not owning all of them I have seen all of them), BRING ON THE LAST SPECTRE!!!!

And the Crossover.
