Boo hoo, his huge mega-hit song attracted more bad PR than songs that where less popular anyway.

Poor Robin Thicke.

First of all, I'd appreciate not being talked down to, kthx.

Secondly, all I said was that we should have been over it by the time the song was a year old. How long do you think Thicke should have to bear the burden for a song with a few Unfortunate Implications? Two years? Three years? Ten years? Twenty years?

Because clearly performing a song that sounds a little rapey in certain contexts makes you worse than Hitler, right?

I love to learn, I love to yearn, and most of all... I love to make money.

Yeah, i saw that tweet and it's rarely a good sign of quality when something is so obscure there's no torrents of it.

This one seems like it'll be weird. I hadn't even heard of it.

I'm also surprised there isn't a torrent out there consisting of all of Madonna's filmography. I'd think for an act so big as her there would be.

True, I still haven't found a fully functional torrent for Skunk Fu.

Wow, I didn't think anyone had actually cared about Skunk Fu I caught it on TV once or twice—I believe it was airing like right in the middle of the day—and it just seemed to me like a pale imitation of Kung Fu Panda and Yin Yang Yo.

Speaking of the latter, I don't think that show was really as good as I thought it was when it was initially airing.

I enjoyed it, but the only Torrent for it on the face of the internet stops when it hits 90%.

I found a few DVDs of Skunk Fu! at Big Lots. If there's one near you, scour their DVD racks and see if any are still left. Also managed to tape a few episodes in those last days before I got a DVR.

Also found at Big Lots over the years: Exo Squad, Father of the Pride (entire series!), The Secret Saturdays, Chop Socky Chooks. (Sure, those latter two get DVD releases and freaking The Life and Times of Juniper Lee doesn't?! What the hell, Cartoon Network?!?)

Back at the very end of the VHS era, I found a tape of The Brothers Flub at Big Lots. THAT is cartoon obscurity, my friends. (I've said it before: the fact that it didn't even have a Wikipedia article until 2008, and the fact that its IM Db page is a near-skeleton with only two very, very wrong names on itnote  are all the proof you need. And no one ever seems to remember it when it's brought up in conversation either. Was I literally its only fan?)

Song I currently most want to see Todd take on: "Cool Kids" by Echosmith.

This song is so pretty...but the lyrics are so pointless and inane. Two verses of "Here's a vaguely described misfit who wishes they could fit in," and a never-ending chorus of "I wish that I could be popular," and....nothing? No progression, no complexity, no....anything. I just get frustrated listening to it because I feel like it's missing a third verse that does something more with the setup, and the instrumentation is gorgeous to the point that I want it to be good.

Pretty? It's got such generic music in it.

[up] Eh, I find it pleasant enough to hear, much nicer than most of what's on the radio right now. Generic, sure, but only in the sense that certain sound combinations get beaten into the ground due to sounding nice.

[up][up][up][up] Reviewing it would be a decent excuse for Todd to throw in the "Four Chords of Pop" running gag once more, that's for sure.

Ugh, I know, that song gets to me as well. Endlessly repeating one phrase over and over and over again is not a song =\

That song is nothing compared to "Shut Up and Explode" the opening theme to Xam'd Lost Memories. The song's in English, good English actually, but it repeats the phrase "run away" for a solid 30 seconds and then does it again at the end of the song with the phrase "let it down". It's migraine-inducing.

Not Three Laws compliant.

Why did he have to mention Crazy Frog and play a clip (sorry never liked the song played it on Teletoon when I was a kid and I couldn't find the mute button/change the channel fast enough) anyways so that's Anaconda okay.
