"Victim...?"

The thought only just occurred to her; he could easily kill her in this body. But if he did...

"...You know, that isn't a bad idea. If he goes berserk and rips this body apart, it would fucking destroy him! He's such a pathetic goody two shoes pussy, it would haunt him forever."

The smirk was met with a grin uncharacteristic of Armani, only slightly diminished by the lack of fangs.

"Do you think he'll eat me too? I want to see him abandon every moral he ever had! Thanks for that... whoever you are."

Amethyst Cassie

"Amethyst" woke up a bit later than the others and when "Amethyst!Cassie" first woke up she was so scared she stood for a few minutes as a rock in the ground. Being a jewel indeed freaked Cassie out. Thankfully part of Amethyst memories were still in her gem and "Amethyst" was able to shapeshift into a form ressembling her original body."Amethyst" then saw a reflection of herself on a nearby frozen lake.

"A body change...This must be magic. When I get my body back, whoever did this will regret it." She said angryly as she punched the ground.

"In the meantime I think I have a good idea on how to use this body" she said calmly before"Amethyst" shapeshifted as Gavrill...

Alvin nodded his head towards the man in the brown winter coat conversing with the mekboss.

"That was my body. Before this. Name's Alvin."

The more Alvin looked down at Senketsu, the more he noticed that his body was female. Yes, he realized that already before, but the implications just struck him. He was a man once, it couldn't be helped.

What would Presa think if she saw him like this?

Ryuuko's cheeks flushed red a little as Alvin willed her head to turn over and look at the commotion over the frozen, but no doubt still berserk, Donnie and the spirit trap, ready to move his train of thought somewhere else.

"W-we should find a way to change ourselves back, ASAP. Before that thing rips us all to shreds...and I go insane."

Gavrill would soon find Donatello's staff under her chin, the other end being held by a very angry Fletcher-in-half-shell.

"Hurt his body while you're in it, and you'll regret it. I've fought tougher things than you."

Technically, it was true. Though his contribution wasn't as much "fighting" as "helping and being knocked out", but he had been in battle against things tougher than Gavrill.

B.B. Hood, Outside

B.B. Hood rolled her eyes, and crossed her arms. That was a typical Gavrill response. Of course, when a purple version of the body she was currently in appeared and then shapeshifted into Gavrill, B.B. Hood flew over to 'Amethyst'.

"So you're the one who's supposed to be in here," B.B. Hood said to Cassie. "If I'm going to be in here for a while, is there anything I should know about this body?"

Soon Alvin spoke up about getting back into their own bodies, and appeared to be looking at his newfound female body a little too closely.

"Nah, what we need to do is to get Gavrill back in her own body, and more importantly, have the inventor of the device that just blew up in a body that won't drive him mad with hunger," B.B. Hood stated to the rest of the assembled crowd. "Once he's in someone else's body no matter whose body, he can actually think of a way to get everyone else into their proper bodies."

"Amethyst"

"Yeah don't get too used to it, and don't use it for evil, ok?. Who are you by the way?" "Amethyst" told B.B hood, with her arms crossed. "amethyst" seemed surprisingly chill about the whole situation as she wasn't the "angsty type" , but she wasn't completely happy about it either. "You don't happen to know who did this do you?" she asked.

"Amethyst" then saw the assembled group next to hear and began to mock Gavrill ,as she had shapeshifted into a form that looked just like her, by saying "I love everyone, I am sorry for being so awful with everyone, I am actually shy and insecure in the inside. You are all beautiful little things!" She said while humping and dancing as she tried to act as steryotipically "sickenly sweet" as she could towards the assembled crowd.

Now that Urza had an approximate idea of what had happened, he had two options. One, try and master a completely new and unknown set of abilities in a short period of time and continue towards the portal and/or spirit leader. Or, make his way back to where he had been and try to set things right. He distinctly recalled a machine exploding just before everything went wrong. The problem with that was that he could no longer simply planeswalk towards the east. He was back within the city. That meant running. Cautiously, he tried a single step...and nearly fell on his face. Ah...the lack of knee and ankle joints is going to be an issue. Even his usual body, though more a projection of energy than anything, still moved like a mortal body. But he was a quick learner. He took another step and this time it was smoother. The third step was only slightly less quick and simple than his own. Then he was running, back towards where his own body was. Something about his hair felt very strange and he hoped it wasn't important.

Vel'Koz looked over and watched and Loki was pummeled with indifference. He should have defended himself from the creature, or prepared some sort of defense as with the approaching waves of enemies doubtless some, like this huge one that just did, could barrel through the attacks. Unfortunately Vel'Koz's curiosity seemed to do no good to the goals at hand, perhaps approaching Loki would have been a better choice but he was farther away.

He approached this one who had suddenly turned away the spirits with a part of their objective in it's hand. It would seem that Loki finishing whatever he was trying to do would have been in vain anyway with this interruption. A powerful being had come and displayed his power, it was time for talks. Vel'Koz spoke in his usual eerily level voice. "We have business to attend to and we intend to do whatever means necessary to achieve our goal, we seek the greater good for all. However we have no specific designs on your city. We do not seek to cause disturbance here. We did not wish to engage in battle against your spirits but you offered little choice." Vel'Koz thought that adding the greater good thing would help with the diplomacy he was trying to do. "You have surmised that this man has some part in the things going on here. That is highly doubtful, considering the state he is in he seems to be a victim and not the perpetrator. Though useful as a witness. I would venture to say that the object we seek is the cause of the chaos to your village and removal of the object would end the chaos." Vel'Koz gestured with one of his tentacles to the others. "You don't have all the information and we don't know who started the chain of events here, but surely we can come to a mutual understanding that will benefit us all. We want the object that we've detected in your territory and you want the conflict to end. Once we have it, we will leave and the conflict for this object will follow us."

Icarax

If it had been anything other than this wretched meat bag, I would have reviled in such terror. Alas, tis but a woman, and a rather useless one at that; I had no stomach for tormenting bugs. Her screams of terror and her attempt to stumble as quickly as possible over as much information as her tiny brain could garner had ceased to amuse me. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw that the events on the ground had become far more interesting, it was time to let this woman crawl back to whatever rock she crawled out from and hide.

"I would ask you the name of the boat master but seeing that the problem with your Doctor clearly stems from coming in contact with this world, I'll waste no more time on you."

And thus in a supreme act of mercy, I allowed Clara to float to the ground like a leaf. Her normal gravity returned as soon as she touched the ground- I saw to that. Thankfully, her descent was quick, I had other prey now. My keen sense of hearing had managed to detect more than a few interesting words from a man I had just seen cast out darkness with a combination of light and water.

His affinity to water I could understand but light? Now that was interesting, especially when his demeanor would have suited a wielder of something less saintly. The fools from the other team only made bumbling attempts to explain our presence which even I would not care to listen to.

Thus, I decided to drop in.

I was fast- a few flaps of my wings and I plummeted towards them. Of course I could have simply hit the ground between them and made an entrance that was worthy of my name, but that would have undermined any initial conversation. The killing couldn't begin too soon after all and we had to please the locals until we aquired our little piece of Sifuri. So I killed my fall with a flap of the wings and a little gravity control, bringing myself to sudden halt above them

"Greetings, imbeciles. Allow me to 'drop by' your most productive conversation."

Donatello stopped on the spot, his body frozen in a stereotypical 'monster about to eat' pose (thanks both to Shantotto's spell and the snow falling around them), with his hands stretched out and a grin on his face. He didn't move for a while, letting the others to talk amongst each other, but then, there was a crack in his face, as his lips started to move a little.

"Connect the—" He struggled. "Spirit Buster to the containment unit! When you r-release—- fooooood— whatever's inside the containment unit, it lets out a small b-byproduct hnnnng of spiritual energy! Connect the buster to the unit, crank it up and release it! S-should provide a blast big enough to TURN EVERYONE BACK!"

His eyes started moving towards the buster as, through Gavrill's biological control, Donatello started heating up parts of his body by forcing the atoms to move faster and faster, counter-acting some of the effects of Shantotto's spell. But now that just a part of his body was free, said part splintered off, an additional limb sprouting out of Donatello's face with a big, gaping maw at the end of said limb trying to bite into the nearest person.

B.B. Hood, Outside

"...Of course!" B.B. Hood flew over towards the Spirit Buster and Containment Unit. "The same sort of spiritual energy that switched our souls is still keeping Maria's in... By plugging the buster to the unit and releasing Maria, it can channel that energy into the buster and, if not return our souls back to our bodies, then it would still put Donatello in another body so he can actually fix this."

"I think I might be able to do this," B.B. Hood connected the Spirit Buster to the Containment Unit. "This is just a weapon, but one with weird ammo."

B.B. Hood began cracking up the newly rigged-up device and was going to release Maria if no one prevented her to do so. This would hopefully return everyone into their own bodies.

Gavrill shook her head dismissively at "Amethyst's" performance.

"Hardy-har-har, very funny. We'll see if you still think I'm so fucking funny when the idiot wearing my skin starts chewing on your guts-"

As if on cue, Donatello partially broke out of the ice and morphed her face, trying to chow down on whoever was nearest.

"Amethyst" simply dismissed "Armani's" comments as she could already tell Gavrill was now in his body.

"I love you" she said as she hugged Armani, and I love everyone" she said as she hugged anyone infront of her while she danced and threw "flowers" to the ground.

After all a part of the original Amethyst pranking nature had got into Cassie's mind...

Elsa

Calmly step away

That was the first thought that entered the ice queen's mind when she saw the pandemonium that broken out, what with all the seekers in the wrong bodies. Somehow, that explosion earlier had had the unfortunate effect for swapping everyone's souls around. A sudden irrational fear seized her and Elsa quickly looked down at herself, waving her hands in front of her eyes. A second later and she breathed a sigh of relief: she had been irrational, she was still in her own body.

But what about the others? Elsa sighed again, but this time in resignation. Though she had been reading up, the technology or magic involved here was way beyond her. She was just lucky she wasn't part of the mess. A cringe tightened her shoulders when she saw Donatello go berserk.

Well...nothing she could do about that.

But there was now suddenly something she had to do something about: Toph, the little blind girl was out cold. It must have been when the spirit monster smashed the stone wall into her. Elsa berated herself for not noticing earlier and quickly recovered Toph from the snow. A giant snow cushion formed itself beneath Toph's unconscious form, allowing Elsa the comfort of knowing this little girl wouldn't be freezing to death anytime soon. Ice was a surprisingly good insulator.

But Elsa had no idea what to do with fainting people. The maids usually took care of that and Anna hardly ever fainted.

Right, first, check pulse

Elsa found that Toph was still alive and breathing. Not that she was any point seriously worried that toph might be dead...but just to calm those small irrational fears. However, now Elsa really didn't know what to do. The people at home used smelling-salts or something- she certainly did not have any. Shaking the poor girl was out of the question so she decided to simply sit tight and wait for Toph to come to.

She hadn't noticed the strange calmness that had settled over the landscape. She had missed Unalaq's spirit charming during the confusion though she had faint recollections of light shimmering around the spirits.

Toph's breaths were ragged and tired, but once Elsa dug her out of the snow, she slowly recovered the rhythm to her breathing. She opened one eye, tiredly, and could practically feel Elsa mulling over her. "Move over, Snow Queen, you're blocking the view." She snarked, although the tone she was using made it sound as if she had just woken up from a horrible nap. "It's too cold... I don't think I can feel my feet just right." She sat up, and started massaging her feet, wincing. "Why couldn't you be the Heat Queen?" Toph grumbled.

Outskirts of Republic City

"Oh great. A comedian." Lin grumbled, flicking her fingers as the chains around Joseph's hands fell. "Right, comedian. Step aside." She turned to Elec-Man. "Don't know what a robot is, but we don't have those around here. Not a threat." Fingers flicked, chains fell. "Step aside." She turned to Hanzo, raising an eyebrow. "Ninjas? Thought those only existed in pulp books. Step aside." She rolled her eyes, and the stone block cracked open. Lin didn't grace Chaika an answer, instead just shrugging and letting her go free.

"Now you two, it's a different case." Lin pointed at Gough. "You could destroy my city in a few seconds. Now we'll either find a way for you to get smaller, or I'm afraid you won't be leaving those chains. I don't care if you're here to 'do good', you're big, you're a threat." And then she just stared at Mordin awkwardly. "What are you supposed to be?..."

Lin turned back to the Seekers, but before she could speak, a heavy thud, preceded by what sounded like a car trying to brake and drive in reverse but failing to do so several times, echoed through the building. A door creaking noise followed the thud, and out of the corner came an old, grumpy man carrying a glowing cube in his hand. "For the last time, this is for emergencies only—" The man said to Lin, giving the cube back to her, before noticing the prisoners- especially Gough and Mordin. "Where did you find these ones?"

"They showed up out of nowhere in the waste facility. Doctor, I want you to—"

"Yes, yes, shush up." The Doctor exclaimed, walking over to Mordin, glaring at the officers. "You lot! Get these chains off them!" He turned to Gough, shrugging. "Sorry, you know how it is with humans: they see something big, their first thought is 'how hard can I shoot it?'"

"What?! Don't follow these orders!" Lin tried to tell her officers, but the Doctor scoffed loudly.

"Doctor's orders! You call me, you work with me, that's the rule!" He interrupted her, and she hesitantly allowed the officers to follow the commands. The chains dropped from Gough and Mordin's body, as the Doctor crossed his arms, leaning forward to stare at Mordin. "Again, sorry about her. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm the Doctor! I'm here to help all of you get back home. Don't be scared by the human back there, she likes to act though, but it's all for show."

"Doctor." Lin growled, grabbing him by his shoulder. "I will not have you undermining me with your remarks!"

"Alright then, go ahead and call that other intergalactic expert you know. I'll wait." The Doctor crossed his arms, prompting Lin to sigh and motion for him to proceed. "Thank you. Where was I? Oh, yeah— I'm the Doctor. I work with her, not for her, and it would be good if she remembered that! Now, you people don't have a whole lot in common... in fact, you don't have anything in common. Some of you look like humans, but then again, I look human and I'm not one..." He raised an eyebrow, pulling out a golden device from his jacket, pointing it at Joseph. He pressed a button, and the tip of the device glowed green. He brought it up to his eyes, frowning. "Rift energy... a whole lot of... sun beams?..." The Doctor lowered the device, glaring at the group. "Seekers? Are you people Seekers?"

That word suddenly grabbed Lin's attention. "Seekers? Here? Again?"

"Going off on a tangent here, but if I were to make an educated guess, I think what unites these people is not what they are... but what they can do." The Doctor clasped his hands, placing them behind his back. "If you lot had to classify your abilities... would you classify them as magic or science? Hypothetically speaking, of course."

Festival Grounds

"Whatever this object is, it does not belong here or in this world." Unalaq replied sternly to Vel'Koz, pointing at the Doctor. "The stench of chaos surrounds you and your friend... it surrounds all of you, like a mark, a warning to others. This object you mention, that's not what's angering the spirits. You people are!" He announced, as heads popped out of the windows to watch the commotion going on in the streets. "If I were to allow any of you to stay one more moment in this world, I would be bringing death and destruction to every nation. That is not a burden I can carry—" The man was almost sent to the floor by the sudden quake coming from Icarax's landing. "What... what in the name of the spirits is that thing?!"

"Wait!" The Doctor yelled, suddenly standing up. "The palace. The palace! I have the answers!... somehow. I think. I-I-I'm not sure, it's all so... foggy. So hard to see. But I think, I think I know how to solve this!" The Doctor told everyone. "We must meet up with the rest at the palace. Yes, meet up with them, meet up and solve this. Split up and search for clues! Split up and meet up and burst in flames. It can't happen, it won't happen, I WON'T ALLOW IT!" He breathed raggedly, before suddenly smiling. "Hello. Awfully cold weather, isn't it?"

The Snowstorm

"I-I got it!" Asami yelled, grabbing the other end of the Spirit Buster so B.B Hood could focus on cranking it. Asami groaned, forcing Tenzin's old body to hold the heating Spirit Buster as the crank spun faster and faster. The edges glowed more and more, as Maria's power forced it to open from her side.

"If this doesn't work..." Bolin yelled, covering his eyes. "I just wanna say... Korra, you're really tall! Like, freakishly tall! Why are you so freakishly tall?!"

Korra's eyes widened, and she momentarily forgot about the incoming explosion, head turning towards Bolin with a glare. "What do you mean by—"

(Un)fortunately, these shenanigans were interrupted when Maria broke through the barrier of the containment unit, letting out a single, short burst of purple smoke. Bolin frowned, letting out an 'oh, it didn't work', right before the containment unit exploded, just in time for that phrase to be considered quasi-poetic. Once again, everyone in the area was subjected to the same, splitting pain, as their spirits were ripped from their bodies, and once the explosion cleared out- much faster than last time- the group slowly opened their eyes, the pain becoming a distant memory...

"IT WORKEEED!" Bolin yelled, happily jumping to his feet and hugging his body. "Oh, it worked, it worked, I'm so thankful, I'm so happy, I'm back in my own body!" He hugged himself, kissing his arms and hands before suddenly being knocked in the head by a very angry Korra.

"What were you saying about my height?!" The Avatar demanded, as Asami stood up, back in her own body. Tenzin did the same, thanking the spirits that he was bald again. And so did the little koalaotter, now back to its natural state.

"That was weird." Asami said, looking at the ashes that were the remains of the Spirit Buster. "Let's never do it again."

"Agreed." The other members of the 'Krew' replied in unison.

Joseph looks the Doctor in the eye, with a powerful glare. The moment he said "not human", Joseph's cautiousness spiked a bit. For all he knew, this man could be an enemy, trying to gain their trust. Though he knew he wasn't a vampire or Pillar Man; no extra sharp fangs, and an apparent knowledge of intergalactic affairs.

"Why do you want to know?! Depending on what you say, I may have to kick your ass!" Was whate said, in an annoyed tone.

Maria's body fell over, empty again... As Maria's spirit was in the epicenter of the explosion, she was not flung off back into her own body. She, or well, her spirit instead floated above the ruins of Donatello's Spirit Buster.

"I had a vision when Seiryuu was nearly turned into a dark spirit," Maria began to explain to those gathered, hoping they could hear her. "There is a massive tree with impossibly deep roots as old as time itself and I believe that is the source of the dark spirits."

"I am unsure where it is though, and I will not be of much use fighting the dark spirits since my beasts can be corrupted by them," Maria frowned to the others. "I do feel like I have been changed from Icarax's attempt to kill me though... I might be able to possess my body, but it might now only serve as a vessel for my spirit."

"Not that being a spirit is bad," Maria smiled at the others. "It is... Well, you would have to experience it yourselves to truly know."

Maria floated over to her own body, looking rather reluctant to possess it... She felt like she was changed and it was quite a great feeling being a spirit, but there was a fear that she might be stuck in that body... Trapped in a mere mortal form again. Back to the woes of a physical existence. Stuck to a limited existence.

Meanwhile B.B. Hood was happy to have her own body back, testing it experimentally.

"HRRRRRRRRAAAAAH!"

With a flex of her reacquired arms, Gavrill burst from the ice and stomped forward. She retracted the limb into her face and snarled like an animal, ropes of saliva hanging from her jaws.

"Ahh, that's better! I was suffocating in that worthless sack of meat. Now where is that turtle? I'm gonna make him eat his own shell-"

She looked around for Donatello.

"But perhaps a taste of what it's like to be me was punishment enough for you. I imagine it was quite a trip for an unprepared mind."

She gave a leering grin.

"Or maybe you enjoyed it, being inside me?"

"Yes, I'd figured that out."

And the chains fell away. Finally.

Elec Man took the opportunity to cross his arms.

And suddenly there was an old man, ranting at the officers. An old man who was apparently an 'intergalactic expert,' and not human. Now, there was something interesting. Elec Man had a feeling he'd like this... man?

Elec Man took a moment to wonder if this 'Doctor' was perhaps related to the Star Marshals, but discarded the idea quickly. If this was indeed an alternate world, there was no guarantee the Star Marshals even existed, and Duo, the only one Elec Man knew, wouldn't know Elec Man even if he did exist.

"Seekers? Not something I've been called before."

He paused. Magic or science? There was an odd question. Easy to answer, at least.

"Science. I am a Robot Master, what else could I be?"

Sheathing them, he had a quick feel of his face and body. Same spiky brown hair, same devilishly handsome features, and same flat chest.

"Whew! That was close. I almost went nuts in that body."

Kind of an overstatement compared to what Donatello went through.

So Beifong thought he wasn't a threat? If Hanzō would have been the sort of person to smile and rub his hands, he would have done so. As things were, he just smirked a little behind his hood. Clenching and unclenching his fists to restore circulation to them, he observed the room he found himself in, trying to find areas where his captors' (for even though he was free from his restraints now he had no doubt the weirdly-dressed law enforcement would chase after him were he to escape) seeming ability to manipulate earth and stone would be negated or of little use.
Then the Doctor made his appearance. Hanzō looked the man over and judged him to be an unknown factor; after all, while he looked old, decrepit and fragile, so did Takeda Shingen and the “tough old coot” (as he liked to call himself) was anything but.
“Magic is a thing of children's tales,” he answered the Doctor's question. “I know not this “science” you speak of.”
