i think gurps is an intuitive and straightforwards game system and wished more people played it.

I don't care what anyone says,the 3d6's bell curve provides a more realistically and enjoyable experience over the d20's linear rolls.

I only know GURPS as the one that was dumped by the Fallout team in favour of SPECIAL.

SPECIAL is just GURPS with the numbers sawed off.

Oh and I was a hooker[1] for a short time in college.

I would hate to think how my future medical career would be effected if people found out I used to play... ugh.. sports.

... That is not what I think of when I think of a hooker.

other countries that don't have sweatshops. Yes, they will be more expensive, but the workers will have a liveable wage.

and yes, even the children, why let them live with the horrible memory of their parents dying? it would be much more merciflu to kill them at that point.

I confess that I used to have fantasies about my former abusive "friends" remembering me and being in awe about how far I'd gotten in life. Sort of like I'd proven them wrong, and it involved them having remorse for how badly they'd treated me, especially since they didn't get as far.

Now I'm too busy actually doing things to think about them. I kind of feel bad about wanting to be better than someone, even if they did abuse me. It just feels elitist.

There's nothing wrong with elitism per se. When it's about something stupid like which kiddie-console you use then, yes, that's just silly, but there's nothing wrong with wanting to be better than the people around you.

I believe it's called 'competition'.
