Went to see this adaptation of the TV Series with about six or seven of my friends, we loved it.

I don't know how many other forum-users are British or how well the series is doing elsewhere, but I was wondering if anyone else has seen it and what their opinions are.

I really liked the TV series- forget Skins or the like, this was really what being a teenager in high school was like. Will I like the movie?

The movie is pretty much an extended Vacation Episode, if you liked the show, you'll definitely like the film.

This will probably never see an American release. The show as far as I know never aired here (Skins did however).

I just wandered over here after noticing ads for the American version, premiering August 20th on MTV. I wonder if it will fare better than the Skins remake...

ETA: Oh, sorry, I didn't notice that this was a Film thread.

I've seen a few eps of the show and I've seen this film.

It's pretty good and funny.

As for the American remake of the show AND the movie. I don't expect much even if they are hiring the same creators to try and help the mvoie remake.

The American trailer looks so bad, but also so predictable. Each and every character has been transformed into the nearest applicable generic stock American tv/film character. I thought it was a parody until half way through.

Am I a good man or a bad man?
