I think the point is that humor is derived from the contrast between Batman's grim face and his current situation (holding a baby).
HodorThe pic is fine imo
It's alright, but I'd definitely like to see some other ideas.
I say leave it until something better shows up, if something better shows up. The only problem is that some may not be able to tell it's a baby at first. I got it but I supposed if you're drunk or up too late it could look like a cloth.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackThere was a Shortpacked comic about batman being this already. Currently trawling through the arcive (thank god for tags).
I also posit This Gunnerkrigg Court strip.
EDIT: Comic I was talking about, Batman Playing DDR, Batman getting hit with a Rake

I like the GC suggestion.
I like the one with Batman gardening.

And if I claim to be a wise man, well, it surely means that I don't know.Hmm.
GC: second panel alone? Could work.
Gardening Batman: lower speech bubble from the fifth panel, sixth panel and finally actual Batman?

The Shortpacked! ones are awesome, but are too hard to edit into something page-image-sized. I vote for the second panel of the Gunnerkrigg Court strip.
Not nearly a good enough singer for the Choir Invisible, and the Basement Room With A Synth Invisible is much less prestigious.Gardening batman is easy.
I resized the Batman gardening image to fit TV Tropes. What do you think about any of this two?

Just call me Nac.First one is better.
Fight smart, not fair.I like the second one, mainly for the in-universe confirmation.
Either one works.

Just call me Nac.I'll vote for second, though my preference isn't real strong between the two.
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things. And I prefer the first one. Unfortunately that brings it back to a draw...
Second is a bit better.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThe second one illustrates the trope a tiny bit better.
Second has more context.
Second one. I highly doubt someone would complain about it being too large once its up anyway.
A couple more votes for the second and that should be enough consensus.
Bump for more votes.
As far as I can tell, the picture has nothing whatsoever to do with the trope except that Batman happens to be an example.
