There is a nice image of Captain Falcon launching Luigi with his Falcon Punch from the Memetic Mutation page for Super Smash Bros. Why not use it?

I see Luigi jumping backwards in an attempt to dodge.
If you look at his eyes, they strongly suggest that he's been punched. But I agree it's not great.
Incidentally, what ever happened with the TRS thread on this?

Stick with the current and send the others to image links. Misunderstanding of the trope on person who suggested it.
To nitpick, Punched Across the rooms is still more practical than "blown across the room". At least if the object is smaller than the puncher but tough enough not to be pieced or broken to pieces.

I wouldn't mind pairing that one against the current in a crowner.
That one is the only one that fits the current trope definition. The Captain Falco one isn't currently this trope.
