New strip. I'm guessing that Zeph has just remembered Halo's truesight orb.

New strip, with a cut back to the club, and Too Much Information of various sorts. The Rant strongly implies that (a) this ties up to Zeph's comment, and (b) guesses about his worries relating to the truesight orb are correct, so my guess is that there's a secret community of alien immigrants on Earth under government protection. "Grandpa came here through Roswell"?

I think there's going to be a whole lot of "why did we let Sydney do that" in the near future.

Sydney has the gift of truesight and a loose tongue that only becomes looser the more she tries. What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

You know what'd be cool? If Jeanie actually had no idea that she was secretly a green bug chick. Puts a bit of a spin on the whole "aliens secretly live among us" trope.

I'm not sure about the "bug" bit. I don't know how significant it's meant to be, but really, she looks quite human. A lot more human than Dabbler, certainly. Sure, she's apparently a Green-Skinned Space Babe, but skin tone and cute feline irises aside, she looks quite human.

(And, for that matter, skin tone and eye appearance aren't supposed to stop someone being human...)

I'm not entirely serious about the "bug" bit. It was just the first thing that came to mind regarding her appearance.

And yeah, she could certainly still be a human, albeit mutated. I'm just running with the whole "alien conspiracy" angle.

Sydney isn't so sure she liked where her brain went there, either. She gets that a fair bit, though: wandering attention spans occasionally have very distressing symptoms.

I'm amusing at the penultimate panel having a motion line that Dabbler is tracing her inner thigh. I don't think she's trying to seduce Sydney at the moment, but it might be pretty involuntary for her.

Nor consciously but seductive behavior is basically her default mode.

It's just Dabble. Move along, folks: nothing to see here. Actually, that's a lie: there's plenty to see. Just nothing weirder than usual.

Well, yeah. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like Dabbler is the one most likely to interject something completely logical in a given situation, despite the fact that she's a cybernetic four-armed alien succubus. I figure this is intentional - the most fantastic character is the one who is most likely to resort to the most mundane explanation, because of Irony.

Or, just common sense. Dabbler is a people person with a lot more experience than most. And, not just in the bedroom.

Personally, I like how Dabbler's focus on the last panel makes her look cross-eyed.
